    If this is a fire Falvey thread, I'm all for it. Up until 2021 it's the next player drafted. Rooker is the clear favorite in 2017, but it wasn't going to happen here, his next place, or the place after that. So I'm dismissing that one whether that's fair or not. I would take Lee over Cross, Soto and Jenkins are both too early to tell since they were HS players. Jenkins is the next great hope around here.

    This YouTube broadcast has been really clean from a picture standpoint. 4K quality which means FOX and NBC are on notice. FOX especially because they're still broadcasting in 720P for some reason. Not a huge fan of Rich Eisen as the main play by play guy but whatever.

    I just watched the first half then went to bed. Wasn't gonna wait out the rain delay for 2 teams I don't care for... Dak looked pretty good last night and deserved better from his receivers. What I am most concerned about are the new point of emphasis taunting calls. Giving the refs even more power to influence the outcome of games.

    Watched the game recap this morning. CeeDee Lamb with some brutal drops last night. Especially on that deep pass late in the 4th quarter. Yikes.

    If he played the letter of the law on that play he would have given Ferguson every opportunity to catch that ball before contact. This game is played within milliseconds so what is he supposed to do in real time?

    Playing defense in 2025 NFL is impossible. Is he supposed to be a super human jumping out of the way of contact if it's decided the pass isn't catchable?

    Point of emphasis is just bias and judgment for each ref crew. Which the NFL doesn't need any more of.

    The scales have tipped too far to Brady's side in the argument whether it was Brady or Belichick responsible for the NFL dynasty. In Brady's first 10 ish years, he was carried by Belichick's elite defense and a HOF worthy kicker in Adam Vinateri making clutch last second FGs. Then Brady had an insane run throughout his 30s and early 40s which carried Belichick. Now he's a 73 year old man coaching college for the first time which makes zero sense.

    Next week will be good weather wise for you. We’re gonna be back in the mid 70s at that point. Today through this weekend is mid October weather in the low 60s

    It's something we should get done in 2026 spring training. If no extension is agreed to, the earliest he'll be on the team is the exact date when we gain an additional year of control. Late April/Early May?

    The White Sox lost 205 games in a row trailing in the 9th inning. Congrats Twins! I'd say this is rock bottom but nah.

    10,000 or less. People can put the blame on multiple factors like early fall temps, school starting, etc. but none of that would come into play if the Twins were a competitive team. I hope leadership realizes how catastrophic 2026 could be if they don’t get in front of this right now with the fan base.
