    In my life watching baseball I have definitely seen more minor league ball than anything. I worked in the Northwoods League during college. The players in that league played college, but got their first summer experience with wood bats.

    Ah you're right. I misunderstood the FV overview... But clicking through other orgs on the link, the Twins have more than most in that 50 FV caliber.

    If Spotrac's details are correct, Buxton's full no trade clause decreases to a 5 team no trade list in 2027. Unless Buxton forces the issue in the next 2 months, I'm not trading him. We're not going to get anything close to a fair return if Atlanta knows Buxton only wants to be traded there this summer.

    It all starts at the top, and Tom P so far is showing he's even more incompetent than Joe P on the baseball side of things. Pressing the pause button on a rebuild already in motion, slashing the budget even further than last year, and simply stating we're going to be competitive... Yeah, anyone that's followed baseball for a little bit of time could have told Tom this was a terrible plan.

    There’s always a reason to wait, and never any urgency to get the dirty work done developing young players. There’s a reason why this team will miss the playoffs 5 out of the last 6 years. Biggest reason of all is holding back top prospects so they can pretend it’s a top farm system year after year.
