Cousins can’t move anymore. They operate out of the pistol 45% of the time, and run to the right 70% of the time because of Kirk’s mobility issue. This is his last shot before he’s benched for Penix. Vikings win comfortably. It’ll probably end up a 1 score game because that’s how life is in the NFL. But I’ll guess the Falcons score some garbage time TD to make it closer than it appears.

Trading Lopez continues to be the most logical conclusion to me as well. Red Sox is a good fit, and I will also offer up Baltimore. Especially if Baltimore does not retain Corbin Burnes. They need a big offseason to capitalize on their championship window. -
A roster that tops out at mid 80s wins. Not exactly something to flaunt about. I suppose 2025 could be the year where Correa, Lewis, and Buxton all play 120+ games but what are the odds of that happening?

I’m all for ideas that speed up the game and make it more accessible for everyone. I don’t like this specific idea. The Bananas are so popular because they run laps around the MLB in social media content. Choreographed dances and gimmicks is more important. The baseball game itself is secondary. No one seriously tracks the Party Animals’ record against the Bananas.

Yeah I guess? And 29 other GMs didn’t want to give him a chance either evidenced by passing on him in the rule 5 draft. Playing MLB is pretty tough.

Not to mention if/when the youth fails at the MLB level there is no one else to turn to. Except mid season waiver wire scrap heaps like Jordan Luplow.

If “The Madness” pops up on your Netflix queue, don’t bother. It falls into the 90% bucket of Netflix content that starts off okay, then delves into absurdly unrealistic scenarios to fill the middle episodes. I stopped watching after the 5th episode.

Agreed. Why risk alienating your existing fans chasing a demographic that you’re likely never to fully capture? Baseball is a boomerang sport. They get introduced to it as a kid, maybe they play baseball or softball as well. Then they go off to do other things because they’re teenagers/college aged and you’re not going to sit for 3 hours watching baseball multiple times a week. Then they come back at a later age when life has settled down a bit more.

This proposed rule change literally comes from the Savannah Bananas. They do this in their league. The moment that MLB adopts a banana ball rule, the Savannah Bananas have won.

If all $150 million is guaranteed, maybe. He’s seen what toxic organizations do to players, and the Raiders are a mess. I would guess he’s hyper focused on going to a stable org/coaching staff to keep thriving on the field.

We can eliminate the Jets and Panthers, he’s never going back there… Best fit IMO is the Rams should they decide to move on from Stafford. Next best is returning back to either MN for another year, or the 49ers if they decide they don’t want to pay Purdy $60 million a year. Tennessee will probably offer big money but I don’t see the fit for him there. Cleveland is a wild card if they can find a way to void Watson’s contract.
