    Jackson looked good on the OL before he injured his wrist... Addison is good. There hasn't been a lot of draft picks in general (thanks Kwesi) and fewer offensive talents we've drafted. Beyond those 2 it's JJM and Felton in the 3rd round which felt like a reach at the time.

    Is it KOC's fault that JJM entering year 3 in the NFL still has issues with layering his passes? I mean, that's high school level stuff. I'm at a loss how a QB who's had elite coaching his whole life doesn't know he can just lob a pass to a wide open Myles Price in the flat for an easy TD?

    Do we think the position players currently on the MLB roster have enough juice left to squeeze out a 5-10 game winning streak? I don't... It's like Zoll forgot that 3 rookies that were red hot at the plate pushed the team over the top into a wild card berth in 2023. If we're serious about making a playoff push, we need both Walker Jenkins and E-Rod on the Twins this week. The offense desperately needs upside right now.

    100%. The Pohlads were too short sighted because their other business ventures declined at a rapid rate. All they had to do was stay the course and build upon their first playoff series win in 20 years. But they unfortunately took the exact opposite path and destroyed fan morale in the process.

    The reason this blueprint worked out for the Padres is they had a billionaire owner that treated the organization as entertainment, not a business. He didn't care about losing money or bad investments. They took massive swings that worked out (Machado, Snell, Tatis Jr) and massive swings that didn't work out (Matt Kemp, Eric Hosmer, Boegarts) - all of that builds trust in the fanbase and willingness to invest in attending the games.

    I wouldn't mind doing both. Guys like Muray, Jones, or Baker aren't signing 5-6 year mega deals anymore. We could sign one of those veteran QBs to a 3 year deal, draft a QB and put the prospect on the Jordan Love development plan sitting for 2-3 years.

    I don't believe that's the case. Kirk Cousins was much better under KOC. He finally got Kirko to take shots downfield and not be scared of making mistakes. Darnold looked good here, and he maximized Mullens to his very best self... granted his best self wasn't that great. The issue is we've had to start several QBs who are backup quality at best, and out of the league at their worst like Jarren Hall, the Passtronaut, JJM, and Brosmer.

    Walker Jenkins is ready to kick the door in. If the Twins don’t call him up now, they’re not serious about winning this season.

    5 games under .500 and this roster as currently constructed isn’t capable of a long winning streak. Call up Walker Jenkins and maybe they can go on a run.

    We love to hype up prospects, then come up with any reason not to call them up. The offense needs a spark to go on a winning streak… Who better than a top 10 prospect in all of baseball who’s hitting the cover off the ball?

    In regards to this, it all depends if JJM is going to be a professional and accept his fate as QB 3. If he’s going to cause drama, or they think having both Murray and JJM could split a locker room, then let’s just get rid of him. Idk the answer to that since I’m not in the building every day. But it got off to a cringey start with JJM’s classroom quotes.

    The viral video of the day is McCarthy missing an easy TD pass at the goal line to Myles Price. He once again threw it too hard and sailed a wide open pass. He also missed a couple of easy, over the middle 5-6 yard completions.

    Might as well. The situation is pretty toxic with the fan base. I don’t want to hate the guy, I really don’t. But he is a bust. It’s time for him to hit the backup QB circuit like Zach Wilson.

    Larnach for Abreyu would have been a really interesting trade. Wish it wasn’t nixed by the Houston owner.
