    North, you may be putting me in the dog house, but she's not my wife.... oh god I'm hesitant to even type this. To answer your question North, we are nearing our quota of 10 Terry Ryan threads in a 12 month span. ChiTown pointed out 7 or 8 of them, and this current one makes 9. We better save the last thread for something more special than an Aaron Hicks trade! I understand your frustration North, always having to repeat yourself. Is that what marriage is like? Sometimes I need to repeat myself on this show, but only for the important things... Things like bunting every at-bat. Having a 13 man bullpen. And cutting Ervin Santana's dreads to a manageable length. One day we'll all be on the same page. 1 TD account at a time. Circular logic eh? I didn't have a lot of thoughts on the subject until you asked. Is that when we are all thinking Sano is going to play RF, LF, or CF, and we'll come full circle to realize he's a 3B?

    I'm with you 100% North. If I could eat pizza every day of the week I would. Unfortunately my metabolism is slowing down (stupid mid-20's!) and now I have to mix in a salad every now and again to prevent my waist line increasing... sigh, adulthood.

    Always broke the story late last night, but today is in fact, National Pizza with the Works except Anchovies Day. Seems kind of weird to have a day to hate on Anchovies... But let's be honest, that does not belong on a pizza in the first place.

    Annnd Welcome! To Minnesota Twins Whine Line: HOT STOVE Edition. I am your host, Vanimal, along with my trusted assistant, The Intern. You would have thought a guy could take some time off after a busy season on the radio, but I'm back. I was at the airport yesterday on my way to Punta Cana, DR hoping to run into Miguel Sano... Unfortunately since it was Veteran's Day, Chief called in a favor to his TSA buddy and put me on the "No Fly List" in order for me to do this show. Here's what we've learned in the last couple of days. Byung-Ho Pak may be joining the Twins soon! Aaron Hicks is gone, but we got a guy who plays catcher! There's a lot of HEAT on this stove, and I'll be here to answer any question you may have. I'm going to have some coffee to get PUMPED up... Then we'll take calls in the order that they were received...

    Won't know for sure, but I would assume there were discussions between AJ's agent and the Twins. It would be interesting to know who said "Thanks, but we're going to pass" first.

    Tracy Claeys was named FT Head Coach today, signing a 3 year contract through the end of the 2018 season. I'm happy they're continuing the course with this coaching staff, and look forward to seeing if he can recruit just as well as Jerry.

    I'm with you on this. I wanted to believe that something bigger would happen on the C side, and really hope after this trade that TR and Antony didn't shake hands and say " now we're done. mission accomplished" IMO We need a guy to come in to usurp Suzuki of his starting job, and really reverse the role he had from 479 PA to about 180-200. Murphy will probably take away enough PA to eliminate Suzuki's vesting option for 2017, but that's not a high bar to strive for.

    Can't argue with ya there. I only learned who JR Murphy is 3 hours ago. IMO it's still a little too early to tell if Hicks truly turned the corner, but I would have liked another year to find out if he did or not.

    That's the OF I'm hoping for, minus Arcia. But I doubt that's what it will be until mid-season in 2016. Now that Hicks is gone, I think the Twins have to look for a stop-gap OF to sign. Span was thrown out in a previous thread before and it didn't make sense until this trade happened. Now it would actually be a good option. All I gotta say is no more Jordan Schafer types for the OF.
