    Texas won the AL West in 1994 with a 52-62 record, .456 winning %. It was a strike shortened season and there was no WS, the Twins are still (so far) a .500 team, which is 81-81 over a full season.

    Tigers won today because they put the ball in play with bases loaded/runner on third in their big inning. Twins comeback fell short because of K's with bases loaded/runner on third.

    So after giving up a 5 spot in the top of the 5th, the Twins respond with a single and 4 k's over the next 3 innings. But Taylor just got HBP to start the 8th, maybe that's how you start a rally...

    I am actually for keeping Rocco, but something seems amiss with this team.

    Surprised Rocco didn't pinch hit for him being it was lefty on lefty...

    Concerning Buxton, I slipped on some over Easter and injured/bruised my ribs and occasionally they will hurt if I twist or move awkwardly. Granted I'm 54 and Buxton is 29, but bruised ribs are tricky!!

    What does it matter? Kirilloff made the last out of the inning (probably won't bat again anyway) and Kepler is a better fielder.

    After watching the replay of the play at the plate, there is no way that play could/should be over turned. Jeffers gave a clear path to the plate and waited as long as he could before stepping to receive the throw.
