  1. The BP is need of improvement, but I don't think Rogers staying would have changed much. In his last 21 games (starting with his 2nd BS of the year on 5/28) he is 0-4, has blown 4 saves (11/15), and his ERA is 7.52.
  2. Danny thinks Gordon needs to shorten up and just put it in play. I tend to agree.
  3. Than Garlick.....bar not set very high
  4. And Gordon is a better fielder...
  5. All these pop ups down the LF line and I hear Urshela mentioned more than Garlick.....
  6. Sano starting at 1B tonight, Arraez on the bench.....and over-reactions go now!!
  7. Sano starting at 1B tonight, Arraez on the bench.....and over-reactions go now!!
  8. Oh great, a position player pitching....
  9. Miranda recovers to have a nice AB after looking terrible on that swing and miss...
  10. Trying to make the argument that K's are better.....
  11. Routine grounder to SS without the shift...
  12. This kid in the booth is awesome!! Maybe Bremer will retire and the team can hire him full time (oh to dream!!).
  13. Hopefully doesn't cost the team Kepler for any amount of time...
  14. Actually had the least EV, according to Baseball Savant....
  15. Baseball is, first and foremost, a team game. An individual who thinks they are above the team is wrong. Playing with and managing pain is part of a plan to help the team. Delaying treatment to play in an exhibition is not helping your team, many examples just this season of players skipping All-Star selections to rest nagging injuries. Getting hurt in said exhibition game (or "skills" contest) also does not help your team, though I read somewhere Rodriguez made more in the HR derby than he will in salary. But I guess todays game is all about tape measure HR's and players collecting massive salaries (more than generations will ever spend). I like Buxton and respect what he has gone through, but I think the decision to delay treatment until after the ASG was the wrong one.
  16. T This is not just a Twins problem. Watch a different team or two once in awhile. Thursday night the Dodgers BP wasted a very good game from their starter, up 6-0 to tied 6-6 before Betts 3 run HR in the 8th. Happens all over MLB.
  17. OF defense not suffering with Buxton out one bit...
