    Honest to God, I can't let this go. I want Mauer out of the GD lineup. I'm sick of this. I'd rather watch Park or Vargas take three big hacks and K than watch Mauer passively let every pitcher dictate every AB, while passing the responsibility of DOING SOMETHING to everyone else in the lineup. Edit: Hallelujah! Holy ****! Where's the tylenol?

    Oh I don't know. The first 3 or 4 hundred times aren't so bad.

    Here in Tucson we have 4 casinos, 2 each for the 2 native nations. They get some first class entertainment, too, and Mrs Chief and I like to take advantage. Last weekend one of them had a fantastic magician up from Mexico. I remember being so impressed, he told us he would disappear on the count of three, and just like that..."Uno! Dos!" and *poof* he was gone. Gone without a Tres.

    Duffey needs to stay right where he is. Throwing a couple miles an hour faster, and able to go through an order one time flipping that big curve up there. That doesn't work the second or third time through, particularly with lower velo and no third pitch.

    If it's 2nd and 3rd, no outs, they play the IF back, Polanco's gnd ball scores one, moves Kepler up. Castro's fly ball scores Kepler, it's 2-1 Twins, still batting. A major league 3rd base coach really shouldn't make that bad of a decision.
