  1. Vanimal, sensing it's time to seal the deal: http://cdn2.hubspot.net/hub/53/blog/images/Bounce_Bad_Email.png
  2. Is Rosario asleep, or recreational drugging again?
  3. I feel like this is a set up, but...yes.
  4. Is it just me, or has the offense gotten a bit stagnant recently?

  6. Oh c'mon. Don't sell yourself short. Sure you can.
  7. Hey hey hey now. I don't wanna be the heavy, but we can't be posting no bare naked ladies on this site.
  8. Enough monkey business. I want to type "winnah!"
  9. I hate giving up on seasons. I fully endorse not giving up on this year, but I think the time to strengthen the team was over the winter. And the way to do that wasn't and isn't by giving a starting job to this type of player. Now that we're in April, and the plan was to go with the OF they have, I'd prefer they just have the courage to let it play out, at least for longer than April. It would be hard to read major changes now as anything other than an admission they didnt really have faith in their opening day plan on opening day. That's not an encouraging thought.
  10. So I won't hear DickBert tell me Rogers is in uniform tonight, but isn't likely available because the Twins like to give a player a day or two to get acclimated before using them in a game, right? I'm sorry Seth, but waiting until today to bring him to Minneapolis is penny wise and pound foolish, IMO. Use the off day to best position the team to suffer the least possible damage. It's not a huge deal. A "paper cut" if you will. But death from a thousand paper cuts is still death. At least avoid the self inflicted ones.
  11. True, which is why i used the word "assume" in my first post.
  12. Seems like the day off would've been a perfect opportunity to ask Perkins, "How's it feel?" And then put Rogers on a plane to MSP, just in case when we ask Perkins again, today, he says "Still don't feel right." Worst case, Rogers gets a few frequent flyer miles and a night at a nice hotel. Twins are out a thousand bucks or so. Rochester is without Rogers for a couple days, until Rogers is put back on a plane this afternoon to rejoin Rochester. That seems like a small cost, and one a team interested in always giving itself the best possible chance to win, would be willing to shoulder.
  13. Can I assume they waited until this morning to summon Rogers, so that he'll be unavailable for tonight's game, even though they had to have known this was a possibility since at least yesterday, probably longer? Or am I just too cynical when it comes to this team's self-inflicted pain?

    Patience

I thought it was reasonable for TR to return to stabilize things when Smith was let go. A year or so while ownership sought out a young GM from outside the org. But it's now passed the time that should have happened. Too risk averse, too resistant to change, too cost conscious. Too old-school, and I'm generally an old school fan. We should already be well into a new era. And that opinion wasn't formed by a horrible seven game stretch to open 2016. Nice blog, BTW.
  15. Mrs Chief has a wine cooler, will that work?
  16. As well you should, RB . As well you should.
