    If you bring Duffey into the 6th, best case is Alcala faces the top of the order in the 9th.

    I don't think it can be argued that the bullpen games havent had a negative effect on the pen. Sundays game played a role in losing last night's game. Alcala isn't brought into a 1 run game against the top of the order if the better options weren't unavailable. I also agree with the point above about lack of fastballs from Alcala. It was weird.

    The problem isn't Maeda going only 5 last night. The problem is that stupid bullpen game the day before.

    Rogers left way too many sliders in the middle of the zone. Again. Still, goes in the W column. Shame to use virtually the entire bullpen going into Cleveland.

    With as analytically driven as the front office is, I don't understand not having a RH hitting outfielder in place of Cave for the past 2 seasons.

    You can put game two in Rocco's personal loss column. No way Berrios should still have been in to give up that 3 run shot to Merrifield.

    Mu guess is there will be some trades, but most will be salary dumps. I believe this will be an opportunity for a few teams to unload a contract or two.

    Really nice performance thus far in 2020 by Maeda. Nothing spectacular, just solid, professional pitching.
