I have high expectations associated with the name due to the movie Bubba Hotep. No less than saving the team from dark forces of an ancient evil. Or one of them AL east teams..

    A "mission accomplished" moment, eh?

I would like to shred some positivity too. It will be fun watching him play.

What's his situation? Did Hicks automatically become a free agent at the end of the season? Or did Baltimore release him? Are there other likely suitors?

What i miss? (other than it was an off season... and now it is the off season.)

    Lenore?!

Anyone else following 'em? I meant to pay attention to the epic battle with the Celtics earlier this month, but got distracted.

Do i have to join face book to watch the Twins? Sigh. Next thing ya know someone will tell me i don't have to be at Taco John's if i want to eat a taco on Tuesday. At least i don't have to "follow" them on a platform formerly known as Twitter. Oh, and RIP Professor Peter Schickele!

I hope they give him a chance to start. And i hope he makes them look good for doing so.

Did you put butter on it?

Not that i know much, but pretty sure marriage is the big leagues.

    "Controls the plate?"

What other similar cases might this be influenced by or influence? I think folk are often aware of the repercussions of arbitration hearings. "but so and so got this, so i should too"

I think he also said in some interview that he really thrived in Houston analytic heavy environment.

What's the buy-out on metal flower art? If it's showing its rust, probably a prime candidate for regression... or tetanus.

I am curious how mutual options get exercised. Is there a required order: does the team have to decide first to bring them back? Or does the player? (I keep trying to decide which way it should go, but between describing a base salary assuming player decides no to come back, a team buy out, they kinda imply differing order, and in the case neither wants the second year, without and order it'd feel like a weird staring contest over that buy out money. And how does that work if the player gets traded?

Hey, we doubled our score since last i checked! Only have to check twice more to win... And what is this? A turnover free game? Mind blown...

How long do we have to wait for that? Pretty sure we don't play the Packers again until next yea... er; season.

But i thought our philosophy had shifted to embracing striking out? Confused...
  22. sampleSizeOfOne
That is a little weird... So that means the cheaper seats aren't available until enough people buy expensive seats?

Probably AJ Pierzynski? Who was traded to San Fran for Joe Nathan, Boof Bonser, and... (looking it up) Francisco Liriano, right! But more because we had this new kid (Joe Mauer) coming up in the catcher position, so playing time was gonna be scarce for one... And yeah, i remember reading the same thing about him, that he kept watching Twins games while playing for the Giants, and was not quite the fierce competitor he'd been for the Twins... He eventually got his World Series Ring with the White Sox... Not quite so quickly as Doug Mientkiewitz, who ended the Curse of the Bambino.

I think we get to draft multiple players...
