    Spring training results are akin to "fools gold". Sano is last year's version of the "Santana" switch. Tyler Duffy was successful with his two pitches last year but let's change him also, oh well. Confidence must be easier to attain at the major league level apparently with how we go about experimenting with our players.

    While Park was in Arizona getting ready for spring training with the Twins we had a chance to talk with his Korean teams management. We asked them to compare Park and King since they were both on the same team. Consensus was King was the better fielder, being a shortstop but that Park was the better hitter of the two. It was an interesting conversation.

    A year ago at the AFL, Buxton, Rosario and Kepler were all available to watch. With a sss to me Kepler looked to be the best prospect of the three with Rosario second and Buxton third. Kepler reminded me of a young Morneau. Big smooth lefty. Would not surprise me if he turns out to be the best of the three.

    I am so sick of watching Perkins and Pelfrey thinks it's so important to throw seeds at whoever is being interviewed during a game. During a very important game I guess that's important, bullsxxxx

    Ride Milone and Pelfrey and let May bolster our bullpen as eighth inning setup guy.

    Today he had a triple and a double, line drives jump off his bat. He actually looks a lot like Morneau did. Dont know how long he had played in the outfield but he looked very comfortable out there.

    When I watch Buxton hit he dosent look ready. His defense does but has a way to go at the plate.

    I would not count out for next year. The pitching in the league is very good. Today three pitchers that threw 96-97. This is their cream of the crop. He is so smooth at what he does. The nall jumps off his bat.

    Have been going to AZ fall league games. I would not count out Max Kepler as one of our outfielders. Has power and a very smooth swing. Outfield defense looks more than adequate, arm strengh is very good. Big good looking athelete.
