    Not a fan. This year is toast, imo. If you are going to use resources, use them to find a C or SS that is legit.

    so might Terry, since, as we know, he's never gone big on a trade. He's never signed an ELITE player to a huge contract. he's never signed a Cuban FA. It's a pattern, not a one time thing.

    Remember when Mauer and Morneau were the future, we just had to wait for them, then the Twins would go all in? Remember how they were going to carry them to the championship? The future is less certain than the present. This team skates plays for the future. Good luck.....

    By that logic, no guy that signed as a FA would ever change hands. Or, some guy drafted in round 41 would never be traded for. Maybe he looked healthy and good, and teams had more information and less doubt about that part.

    In looking at Hicks' monthly splits this year, it's hard to believe it is actually the same human being in July as the other months this year........
