    They tried to improve his swing. It didn't work. You don't fire someone for trying to make someone better. It seems to be working for a ton of AA players......sometimes things don't work. Then you adjust your approach with that player.

    Which player on last year's roster should have tried to steal more? If you aren't successful 80% of the time, you are giving up runs. As for Martin, I'm still a believer. However, he didn't face anywhere near good pitching in the AFL. Most analysts compare the pitching there to AA or lower.

    Why are we assuming Gallo plays first, and not larnach, if AK is hurt? Why are we assuming larnach isn't the DH many games?

    Good thing you weren't the GM when Hunter struggled. Miranda was a rookie. He might not be great at third, but to write him off after one year is amazingly impatient.

    League average plate appearances for a RF? No. Not close. Gallo was better than Max last year.....

    And, Sands is 100% best served as a RP. Probably Henriquez also, but he's so young, so maybe not yet.

    Agreed. Plus, 100-120 innings would put Ober around league median.....not a great starter in terms of number of starts, but I think he can start 15 games a year and be valuable in that role.

    I also have a few others that aren't.....but, the two accounts I "play" in killed me last year when I refused to sell at "small" losses. Sigh. Lesson learned.

    Fangraphs has Povich the 8th best oriole prospect.... but they state he has a real chance to jump up the rankings. They do like him.
