  1. I did not know that.....I mean, I'd like Jeffers in there more....but I'm 99% sure Maeda wants Vazquez.
  2. If they pass on him over 700K, well, I've already called for their heads before this.....let's hope they sign him.
  3. One of five guys taken in the first 10 rounds, I believe.....
  4. There are almost no pitchers in that list. There aren't that many in the FG list either (which clearly needs updating). Nature of the beast. Plus, top 60 is a pretty small list for all the minors. I mean, we are talking about 2 per team on average.....how many teams have a SP in their top 2-3 prospects?
  5. I'd bet Hockenson signs first. Also, there is the TINIEST chance they deal their unhappy DE, but I doubt that very, very, much.
  6. 5-20 is actually quite good in 2023....so I have zero idea what that sentence is supposed to mean. I've called for teh FO to be fired most of the year, if they fail to sign Jenkins......
  7. Whatever....still the point. Have a great day!
  8. I agree with that, but the Twins will keep Lopez and send down Balazovic....they've shown all year that VETERANS is the answer ....even if the youth are nearly ALL playing better. Heck, Julien would still be in AAA if Polanco hadn't gotten hurt a second time.
  9. They should have known his price when picking him. And, so what? It is their job to sign him.
  10. That has zero to do with this. Zero. It is their job to sign him. Zero to do with the agent.
  11. Because he's likely the best SP available this year for trade. People trade great or very good prospects for SP at the deadline most years (when there are actually good SPs available). You literally have no idea if those guys would be good here or not..... That said, at this point, I don't think they are selling at all (maybe Gallo, but that's to add Wallner full time, if done).
  12. Heck, he doesn't even get his chance if Polanco isn't hurt, which is another strike against this FO.
  13. The Yankees aren't trying that again! Wallner has hit well since being allowed off the bench. He should just be up. Larnach is only up for three days.... I'd take anything for Gallo at this point, just so Wallner can replace him.
  14. I don't know they need BP help either, given the returns of Stewart and Thielbar.....I mean, I'd trust Balazovic more than them anyway, but they seem hesitant to trust any young players (hitters or pitchers). They didn't even want Julien up, it took Polanco being OUT for him to be up. Sure, they CAN put AK in the outfield, but Wallner is outhitting him.....they should just trust Wallner.
  15. That's the plan for three days..... Then Buxton is back and Larnach is down again.
  16. Hard to see how he's on the roster, given they signed his very expensive replacement....
  17. I don't understand this idea. If by some shock they trade for a hitter, it will be for an OF. But I see them standing pat offensively.
  18. If they don't sign him, I'm even more done with the FO.... But I think they will.
  19. There is no reason to trade Wallner. He should play every day. Larnach? Sure, he can fetch a RP I'd guess. Might backfire, but they should do it.
  20. They signed another nothing TE? What's going on?
