    No he's not a complete garbage player, as you are alleging. Yes things sure turn quickly. Dozier's season turned quickly. Polanco might be showing he's a realistic option at shortstop. Polanco is also a good Plan B at third base if Sano proves he's move valuable as a DH in 2017.

    Polanco is better at shortstop than Nunez in every respect, especially arm strength. Not sure what people are seeing or if they are just putting too much stock into how the Twins switched his position to second in the minors. Plan A for 2017 needs to be Polanco starting shortstop.

    The more I think about an inside hire, the less I like it. Not to say there isn't someone qualified or everyone has to lose their jobs, I just think it needs to be shaken up.

    Weak attempt at a joke - my bad. Aimed as much at the broadcasters, media, and strib commenters, I guess. Obviously Sano is a work in progress but the whispering campaign bugs the hell out of me and is unnecessary. Who cares if he hangs out with his bros over the winter or didn't show up for batting practice one day? There could be a hundred legitimate reasons for that. But I digress.

    Listened to Twins coverage all morning and all signs point to Sano being demoted. So all the Sano haters out there can start covering your man caves with plastic sheeting for the champagne celebration when it's officially announced.
