  1. It happens. but yeah, Kirk has got to be the best businessman-athlete negotiating the best deals for himself in all of professional sports, although a close second would be either Bobby Bonilla or Randy Dobnak…
  2. use froggy voice when you eat old fruit salad lol
  3. I thought I saw in the 2nd Qtr a slow-mo of Darnold retracting his hand after a pass - indicating he might have barely grazed a helmet with his thumb? Didn't have sound & no one here has said anything so maybe not
  4. Wasn’t a big fan of the clock mgmt either.. …after the Hockenson first down just go up and spike it, you got 2nd down, 20 seconds, and a TO in your pocket. They almost didn’t get the FG
  5. Justin Jefferson, catches TD: We love you Randy!❤️ Joe Buck: “and that is a dis-gusting display…”
  6. Same. Did not realize there was another frightening injury this week. I’m only half following football at this point anyway.
  7. There was a playoff tiebreaker in Week 17 about 25 years ago that almost was determined by net points scored/against. My peak fantasy football years. What I remember was Mike Ditka coaching the Saints at that time, and his 3-13 team running the hurry up offense in the final minute and down by 30 points, because the team they were playing was involved in the tiebreaker. 😆 good times
  8. I don’t see it as a “heads up” to the fans, but more shifting the responsibility early. No reason for Falvey to say a word publicly about payroll at all. The message at any point should have been “we like where we are at, so far, don’t see any deals that fit for us.” That would have been the loyal Terry Ryan type of thing to say.
  9. Randy Moss has cancer. That’s a tough one.
  10. how about the Favre Gastineau thing
  11. Dumb question but slightly relevant: does Daniel Jones have trade value? (also does Parker Romo have trade value)
  12. Is it possible the clutch stats look bad is really that the non-clutch stats are inflated? We did play the White Sox a bunch more than other teams. I do agree infield defense was shabby and played a part.
  13. I would buy one— I would want it to be Vin Scully’s voice, though
  14. Just saw the news— excellent scouting work @Vanimal46 I knocked Jones earlier but am a fan of this move. I am a big believer in hyped up QBs needing to carry the clipboard for a while, and I do t think Jones ever really got to do that. This might be the right setting for Jones to decompress and reset.
  15. Another reason I love the internet (warning: language)
  16. There is a video going around of the Giants owner saying he really wanted to hang on to Saquon Barkley, but the Giants GM telling him "nah, I have a plan to build around Daniel Jones" Hey, at least that fan base has a few super bowls under their belt.
  17. Nothing against the guy. Just seems like the Vikings will go in a different direction.
  18. He just needs time in the pocket
  19. Amon-Ra St. Brown, again today. 11 catches 11 targets. seriously this guy.
  20. there ya go
  21. me too but i figure that will last about three weeks
  22. I put that more on Darnold, fans are going to begging for Josh Dobbs to come back before this season is over
  23. mid-market teams shouldn’t be signing high end free agents in the first place? 🙂
  24. The quarterback whisperer
  25. This should be a two-score win, minimum.
