  1. Park strikes out a lot, but takes professional at bats. I like him.
  2. Dozier was safe on that play. Safer than Terry Ryan's job. And lo and behold, they rightly reversed it. We're in business!
  3. meh, I think so. I don't mind a walk or three. He's making good pitches when he needs to.
  4. Home plate umpire: I ain't giving you no AAA strike zone, Rook. But Berrios seems to be dealing with it well.
  5. Somewhere in the dusty 1970s operating manual that the Twins use to make baseball decisions, are some rules of thumb, such as: the 9th guy in the order should be your second leadoff hitter, and, slow catchers do not bat 9th. So, there's really a synergy to Molitor's lineups that you are refusing to recognize.
  6. Anyone? I think Pinto and Herrmann were the logical choices at the time.
  7. Mostly I was responding to a poster who hopes Ryan makes a move to improve the team this year. I agree small sample. One nice 3 hit game for Murphy and his slash line will be back to normal.
  8. That probably means trading Buxton, Sano, Berrios, May, or someone like that.
  9. A lot of people have that hope. But do you believe he actually will? That's what would put you in the minority
  10. When Suzuki made the 2014 All Star game, who would have thought he would be our primary catcher through the end of 2017? It's looking more and more likely. I think most posters on here were actually pleading for Ryan to trade him at that time.
  11. Just stick with me. I know this scene well.
  12. The good news is Jepsen is fresh for tomorrow.
  13. split is maybe what you call them? I live under a bridge so have no idea
  14. At least Meyer hasn't sold his two-story rambler in Rochester yet. And plans to run for a term on Rochester's city council this fall are still on track.
  15. Not to mention May's first start. What are they telling these guys before they make their debuts?
  16. Who all saw "the catch"? That Sano is athletic!
  17. Question. Keep Molitor, or keep Ryan. You have to choose one. I especially want Chief to take a shot at this
  18. For everyone who bet on monkeys, I will open the window tomorrow at 10:30 AM to distribute payouts and issue your 1099's.
  19. Ryan has done the little things right, or at least some little things, like you said, acquiring Escobar and Milone. But he has some big, tough decisions to make, and he is not making them. He did sign some free agent pitchers but, all teams do that. It's not really a big deal to sign a free agent pitcher to a multi year deal. I'm sure firing Gardenhire felt like a really big deal, but it shouldn't have been when you look closer at it. And now that Gardy has been hired back in, it's almost like undoing the firing.
