Naylor was not gonna hit Duran there anyway
  3. Hosken Bombo Disco
For those of you listening at home, no, that was not a swing and not really that close
  4. Hosken Bombo Disco
    Absolutely perfect pitch (to Rosario)
  5. Hosken Bombo Disco
Oof lucky that bouncer off the plate was foul
  6. Hosken Bombo Disco
I will send you an email, with a lot of weird characters in the subject line, a vague threat and cap letters so it stands out

alright Jhoan let’s prove your recent hard contact is just a blip

The Apple feed just showed a post-season futility graphic — apparently the Detroit Pistons have an active streak of 16 losses. … and then they just showed the Twins handshake line from their last playoff win in 2004 in the Bronx lol
  9. Hosken Bombo Disco
    Honestly, I might too
  10. Hosken Bombo Disco
Who needs offense when the Twins have starting pitching! Although Luis Arraez and his .774 batting average wouldn’t hurt either
  11. Hosken Bombo Disco
Internet people have lots of words
  12. Hosken Bombo Disco
It would melt on the plane

Gonna be Duran vs. the top of the order in the 9th. Stay tuned!

Contact play cannot possibly mean that runners should go on contact, when it’s a hard-hit easy-hop grounder to an infielder who is playing in to cut off the run…
  15. Hosken Bombo Disco
    aaaaaaaaaannndddd then . 😟
  16. Hosken Bombo Disco
Oh and have we talked about how bad the Cleveland bullpen is this year…
  17. Hosken Bombo Disco
Super nice play, in that it was a huge hop, and Ober did not panic or rush the throw.
  18. Hosken Bombo Disco
I don’t know. Cleveland is not as good this year, and the bottom half of their lineup is a ghost town. I would let Ober pitch the 8th.
  19. Hosken Bombo Disco
The Apple camera caught Correa hugging Ober on their way off the field :)

Oh crap, forgot! since it was probably Gladden on the call, here is what happened: Naylor went into foul territory to field a hard grounder/ one hopper, and with his momentum carrying him away he turned and threw an off balance overhand football throw to the pitcher covering first

Cleveland should get points for that last putout which looked like a football play : CLE: Battenfield 8 yd pass from Naylor
  22. Hosken Bombo Disco
Well played, now cheer up 🙂
  23. Hosken Bombo Disco
‘Twas a time when a post from 38 minutes ago was just the top half of the same inning, and not 2-3 innings earlier
  24. Hosken Bombo Disco
Time to end that playoff losing streak! (

The Twins had a similar extra-inning game against Detroit last season, when both teams tried really hard to lose but the other team wouldn’t let them. The result today was different. Give them credit for getting fed up and hanging a five spot in the 12th.
