    He has been the best reliever on the team by a pretty big margin.

    I doubt anyone gives you much for Kody Clemens but if some gets irrationally exuberant you trade him.

    Only about 20% of 3rd round picks have a career as good as Royce Lewis. If Winokur can do that well he will have beaten the odds.

    He is performing about as well as you would expect a 3rd round pick to perform. 3rd round picks have a 40% chance of appearing in MLB and a 20% chance of playing 3+ seasons

    Morris looks a lot better in a 1-inning role. Adams is awful. Klein and Paredes have FIP above 5. All those guys can do right now is help the team lose. Their best bullpen strategy has been scooping up whoever Tampa Bay gets rid of.

    Skubal has a $32M salary and “loose bodies” in his elbow. That alone will reduce his trade value.

    If Bell gets injured they can bring Wallner up to DH. Otherwise I would like to see Roden after he has had two weeks to get his timing back.

    With better defense they might have Joe Ryan pitching the seventh inning. The offense really misses Buxton and Jeffers.

    Royce just took Outman’s roster spot. Wallner has only recently started hitting.

    Relying on the Twins defense to turn batted balls into outs has not worked out well, especially with Buxton playing mostly at DH.

    Royce has been crushing pitchers who have no trouble getting Sabato out. Plus, Sabato has trouble fielding ground balls hit directly at him and can’t get to anything more than a step away.

    Kai-Wei Teng is having a good season for the Astros. He was signed by the Twins back in 2018. Luis Gil is probably the best international free agent pitcher they signed in two decades but he has done all his work for the Yankees.

    I wouldn’t be surprised if he could tell the difference between Goose and Geese.

    Bell runs hot and cold and he has an 835 OPS over the last week. DFA Arcia, option Kreidler. Call up Lewis and Culpepper. Arcia will end up back in St Paul.

    Arcia does not play good defense. He’s an old, slow player. His sprint speed is worse than Josh Bell.

    Royce is so much better at baseball than Sabato it is ridiculous.

    Their run scoring is just fine. They scored 6 runs last night. They’re at 4.6 runs per game, the same as Tampa Bay. The offense took a hit when Jeffers was hurt but it is still productive. The defense is giving up an extra run every game compared to an average defense. Fix that instead.
