  1. I'm confused by this sentence under Nick Gordon: "In 24 games at shortstop, he has a .961 fielding percentage. He’s played just four games at shortstop to this point."
  2. And so has just about every other team, we really haven't gained much if any ground. Duke isn't going to keep 14K/9 up the whole season...
  3. Rosario is started to heat up with the bat a little too.
  4. The Miami Marlins have a higher winning percentage than the Twins. Enough said...
  5. Ugh, Morneau is a human sleeping pill. Do not want.
  6. On a side note, I think I've found a substitute for sleeping pills. It's listening to Morneau in the booth.....
  7. Why hasn't Rowson figured this out? That's what he gets paid for....
  8. Can't the front office, if they really want to keep him, offer something to the Marlins ( it can't cost much) and send him down? He doesn't belong on the MLB roster.
  9. I thought the new management was supposed to be pitching gurus......
  10. For all the calls to go out and get starting pitching, so far, the home grown Twins (Berrios, Gibson) have been a lot better than the acquired pitchers (Odorizzi, Lynn).
  11. Fair or not, a world series championship would help too. I'm like a few others that have posted, I don't really care if he makes the HOF.
  12. I just can't take articles about such small sample sizes seriously. I mean, I know you have to write about something, I get that. But waiting until the quarter mark of the season and see if things are still the same seems like a more valid take on a players performance. And even that could consist of a relative SSS.
  13. Although a small sample size, his ability to get through innings with fewer pitches is to the most exciting thing to me. Having a starter able to consistently go deep in games helps out a bullpen that has some issues.
  14. 5% of the season. I wouldn't be jumping to any conclusions based on 5% of the season.
  15. This walk off win was nice, but the Twins are gonna need a long start from Berrios tomorrow.
  16. Buxton isn't going to hit .296/.353/.494. Frankly, I think his bat is going to struggle again for a good part of the year. Not as bad as April/May of last year, but his pitch recognition still isn't great and he K's too much. If we get a .750 OPS and great D we shouldn't complain.
  17. This^^^^^. He just needs to trust that 4 seamer.
  18. wow, all those projection sites think our bullpen is going to suck...
