    Mike, he DID dog it. Hid a slow roller to 2nd base and ran half assed to first until he realized he might be able to beat it out and then he ran hard. Inexcusable effort.

    Arcia needs an attitude adjustment. His half-assed running out of a ground ball that he possibly could have beaten out the other day just infuriates me. That kind of stuff can't be allowed to go by without repercussions.

    Schafer got a hit off of Price yesterday, not exactly a little league lefty.

    Not to nitpick, but a late inning defensive replacement isn't going to help someone like Nolasco, he will be out of the game by then.

    Nobody is going to give you anything for Pelfrey in a trade, even if he pitches well out of the bullpen.

    The idea that Hunter can miraculously fix Hicks by being his "mentor" is a joke.

    His defense drives me nuts. He has a strong arm, but it seems like he almost would go brain dead on what base to throw to sometimes and he missed the cut off man way to often for my liking. These things should be second nature to him by now and they aren't. Everyone talks about his bat, but he needs to be able to play decently in the field and he sure isn't there yet.

    Ozzie? you gotta be kidding me. What does he bring to the table besides speaking spanish? Horrible manager and a jackass to boot. No freaking way.

    3 weeks is a pretty small sample size. I want to see him do it the rest of the year before I'm going to get my hopes up, and even that isn't really that many at bats. I would love it if the lightbulb has come on for him though, he is fun to watch.
