    The husk of Vazquez and his 29 wRC+ is the 9th best hitter they have on the 26 man roster?

    And to add, the Twins have players like Tanner Schobel and others who could be an improvement over the quad-A castoffs currently occupying the 26 man roster, but may not be ready yet and don’t want to derail their development or start their service time clock yet. there’s more at stake than the 2025 big league club, including the 40 man roster when guys start getting healthy. Who’s up for DFAing prospects or having them rot on the bench?

    Correa is injured and it didn’t heal over the offseason. Does he go on the IL when Royce comes back?

    I believe it’s the wrist injury. Gleeman said on the pod that he’s been dealing with it since last year.

    That may lead one to believe that an automatic Margot might be preferable, but that assumption would be false. All types of Margot’s must be demolitioned from the area before surface prep.

    A front office blow-up management change, followed by a sale of the team and another front office management change would super-suck. If this team continues to play this badly, I can’t imagine Baldelli makes it to the All-Star Game and Falvey survives past the World Series. if it’s just Baldelli being the sacrificial lamb, it wouldn’t really matter that much. I don’t think managers actually impact the in game outcomes that much.
