    Who gets cut?

Ashbury, the date is June 16th
  2. I dont think you can use Stubhub within 2 hours of first pitch, if i remember right, i also have used ticketking, have loved using them , so far.
  3. Dozier will be 28 this yr, that would mean he would be entering age 32 season his FA yr , not 29.
  4. Couldn't agree with you more.........none of the 3 should have ever been on the team, going by spring training.......Kubel gave us one good month, got to hang on for a couple more because of that one good month, and get $2 million guaranteed........I love the Twins, but I don't like the way they are run, we need new blood, because there is very little confidence in this group, and it really doesn't hurt to have some new thinking.........Twins seem to embody the good ole boys network.......
  5. Anyone know what is wrong with Tanner English, shows as active, but hasn't played since July 6th........is hitting like .432 and has speed.
  6. I was wondering the same thing!!!! Either only you and I read this, or nobody cares LOL
  7. My shot at it: Starters: Hughes, Meyer, Nolasco, May, Gibson----could be a decent rotation Relievers: Perkins, Tonkin, Pressly, Deduno, Achter, Darnell, Kris Johnson Starting lineup SS Santana 1st Mauer CF Buxton DH Vargas 3rd Sano LF Arcia C Free Agent 2nd Rosario RF Hicks Bench: Escobar, Parmalee, Pinto, Plouffe I think they trade Dozier......someone will like his power, but my opinion he has limited ceiling, and is close or already there......I don't see him hitting anywhere near .275 or .280
  8. After getting burned on Appel, I am guessing they are trying to be more prudent.......honestly I don't blame them, even tho if it was me I probably give it to him........Negotiations are all about leverage, and tho this is not a Boras client, you see Boras try to leverage teams all the time, he did it with Rodon, getting him the best deal, I would have played hardball with Rodon as he didn't have leverage for next yr if he didn't sign this year. Just my opinion I do feel bad for the Nix kid, altho apparently he must have put something out that he was going to be hard to sign, so he wasn't drafted till the 5th round, so he had no problem going to college it seems. Aiken hard to turn down 3 to 5 million, unless coming from a well to do family.
  9. Just to let you know, under Contract notes: it has Perkins option as 2016 , and should be 2018.
  10. Or maybe he is content with life, wife, kids, money...........just no need to push for anything extra, he proved what he could for the contract..........not saying it is so, but you see it alot, when players have little or no incentive(contract) to keep pushing hard........some players play hard for the contract, some play hard for the LOVE of the game........again not saying Joe does or doesn't love the game, but when he shows no emotion it is hard to know if he loves the game or not. I think we will know the true test when he is done with this contract at age 35, will he want to play past that????
  11. He made All Star team as a bench coach , because it is being playing in Minnesota, not for any other reason.........
  12. Im not a Gardenhire fan, never have been, and I could say I would have done different things in different situations.........but for the players we have, I would say we should be around .500 and we are..........now if Morales is what we think he might be, that should or could put us in contention for a WCard, and if we falter badly, I might again put that on Gardenhire........but for now, I have to say he is doing, record wise what I think he should have..........I want the Twins to win, but I kind of thought if we had another terrible year, we could rid ourselves of Gardenhire..........but it seems like the players like their manager.
  13. next 4, Foley, Adams, Harrison, Burdi
  14. Id love Gatewood, if he gets to us, but would be take another SS??? I think he prolly projects better as a 3rd basemen, or maybe OF???
  15. I will wait on my next prediction till we are around 43, 44 LOL
  16. Ok now that he was off the board, and I was thought that either St Louis or Atlanta would take him, but he went earlier than I thought he would. My next prediction is Justus Sheffield
  17. I guess I will be the first to predict our 2nd Rd pick, if he is on the board, I will go with Luke Weaver RHP Florida State
  18. Maybe I am reading this wrong, but Garza had 22 minor league starts before promotion to AA............Slowey had 31 appearances and 23 minor league starts.
  19. Winner winner chicken dinner!!!!!!
  20. I never felt comfortable tonight, c'mon Perkins!!!!
  21. Also why I love baseball..........and everyone can predict and project , and test if their theory comes true........if only the team would listen to me LOL
  22. Well if we wait till after year 2, and we hope that he is the next Mike Trout, and I know some people think he is......it will take the same or more of what Trout got 6yrs/$144.5 million
