    I havnt been high on Berrios, but hope I am wrong.........he doesn't have a lot of projection, and , I know he is young, but he is not blowing away hitters.........I see him as a future bullpen guy, or maybe a 4th 5th starter, and nothing wrong with that, if he truly is a 4th or 5th starter and not a recently typical Twins AAAA 4th and 5th starter..............Darnell is at best a 5th starter, I don't holdout that he is going to be anything more than a filler at the MLB level, again, I hope to be wrong, and he becomes or someone becomes good trade bait for other things we need in the future

    Oh Oh, if it is a wrist injury, no matter how slight or severe, he will be out 2 plus months.........mostly kidding, but it seems the Twins injuries last longer or are more severe than what they will first tell the fans

    If trying to be nice in my criticism , for lack of criticism , from media is a mancrush, I guess so,..............but many people tire of , it everyone else's fault but Mauer. Like not calling an error when 999 out of 1000 that play is an error.

    I don't disagree with you at all, but isn't that an error, I cant believe that is called a hit!!!! Most of blame should go to Nolasco, but if Mauer fields ball cleanly , like he should, it is an easy out........Blyleven and Bremer don't put ANY blame on Mauer. Never any criticism of Mauer by any Twins official media or Twins officials......and there should be at least some.......I know there is a lot and most unfair on sites like here, but overall maybe it equals out.

    Did he screen the shortstop maybe so, but it wasn't so blatant that it should be called a DP.........its not like the guy was standing there to get hit, he was moving toward 3rd base..........I think they got the call right.

    He looked easily out????? Ha , original replays were inconclusive, only when they finally showed from Dodger dugout that it showed his palm hitting bag and not fingers, it was that close.

    I like instant replay, but watching on my tv, none of the replays showed him out, I am mad and surprised they overturned it. Probably find out later they mistakenly called it wrong, cuz it is the Dodgers, LOL

    Little late for Deduno now, I so much agree with you Tobi, start Deduno and if you need a reliever bring in Pelphrey in a lost game, instead you bring in one of your best pitchers in a lost game...........but I can hear Gardy now, we really didn't want to use Deduno in the first game, cuz we know Johnson cant go far in the second.......Gotta save pitchers for the AAA guy , when Pelphrey should be a NOwhere guy.

    The ironic thing to what I just said is, that Tommy John certainly didn't look the part of a strong athlete, but IMO it isn't all because of weightlifting, just the weightlifting is a major contributor.

    Sorry, I didn't read article, but my take is that, weighlifting puts more strain on arm(shoulder and elbow)........people don't throw anymore today than yrs ago, actually less IMO.........and in my day(im 50) kids threw curveballs and everything else. Guys 30 yrs ago or 40, were starting 45 games a yr, throwing 300 plus innings......altho most didn't throw more than low 90's, today you pretty much have to throw at least low 90's, but most of that can be attributed to strength thru weighlifting and other exercise routines.

    Umpires still got that wrong after replay, should have been ball four.

    Didn't get here fast enuf, so this will sound 20/20 is hindsight, but it is not the first time they have brought Deduno in the middle of an inning, they need to use to someone else to finish an inning and Deduno start his own innings........I am happy with our offensive approach tho, I didn't think we would get 3 hits much less 3 runs again Price

    Talking uniforms, I remember sometime in the 70's(73 maybe) that the White Sox wore shorts, would be so hilarious today to see that.

    Well I am not against keeping Floriman, but if we are going to have a utility player to replace him it should be someone who gives you something different, not Escobar...........I think if we had Nunez and Floriman, depending on who we are playing would dictate who plays short.........example, if we are playing a good offensive team where we will most likely need to score runs, I would play Nunez, and if we would play a team that is weak offensively , then we need our best defensive player(s) in game..........we do it all the time with our OF, we play our offensive players early and take them out for the 8th and or 9th inning, why cant we do that with shortstop on a game to game basis? Just my thinking.
