  1. Or Ricky Sevenandtwothirdsinningspitchedandtworunslasco!!!!!!!
  2. Ya!!!!! It was Rocky Tworunlasco!!!!!!
  3. Today was the day for seeing pitchers we dont trust, making us look bad
  4. See!!!!! He needs to be moved to the 8th!!!
  5. Good spot for Boyer to show his true colors and we will have to find someone else for the 7th inning in crucial spots
  6. I was thinking same thing, at least get down to 12(7 relievers), and heck the way they are pitching, maybe even 11 for a week........but where would you put everyone LOL, our pitching in the Minors has been super
  7. For Hamels!!!! LOL
  8. WoW!!!!! Hate to jinx this, but WHO IS THAT GUY PITCHING FOR US?????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  9. Well, as far as Oliveros, i dont know that people are clamoring that he is a great pitcher, just most believe(and I am one of them) that he would probably be better than a couple we now have........Milone, again, i dont think people are poo pooing what he is doing, just that he wont be able to be that effective at the MLB level.............on a different note that you didnt bring up, but i will say it here, i wouldnt trade Milone, mostly cuz he wont return any real value to the team, but we made need him later if an injury or two would happen.
  10. Alex Jackson, is hitting .158 or something like that in Low A, and was recently sent to Extended Spring Training.
  11. Yep, like everyone else, my confidence in Nolasco is very very low, I am hoping for 5 IP and 5 runs or less, is that too much to ask for????
  12. I notice i have an extra hop in my step these days, and it is cuz the Twins are winning!!!!! Incredible how something so unimportant in our REAL world , makes us feel so good or down LOL................I have a good life, but the Twins winning makes it extra special
  13. Just going by memory, it seems almost all the strikes were of the swinging variety after the first pitch fastball strike, he got ahead of the count almost all day, and was able to make the Sox players expand their zones, he was mostly in 1-2, 0-2 counts after the first 2 or 3 pitches..........framing wasnt needed, does anyone have the count on how many looking K's their were??? Gibson just was super on today, be nice to see him be consistent, between his new changeup and his slider, he look fabulous.
  14. Not me!
  15. My opinion , Gibson pitched about as well as he could, hit almost all his spots, went in and out, up and down, slider was working great when he kept it low, reminded me of Liriano, but from the right side.......then that change up, if he can repeat this, his K rate will go up dramatically, but not consistently like today..........I think the Sox are a free swinging team, so I think that helped, IMO
  16. I am answering my own question, i forgot they had a DH 2 days ago, but still wonder
  17. In todays game (5/24/25)....I know AA is about getting work in and giving everyone a chance and developing, but what is the deal with the Lookouts keeping DJ Johnson in the game?? 45 plus pitches for a reliever, who has struggled this yr and is not really much of a prospect, anyone have any insight or is it just to try to develop thru adversity???
  18. Houston ahead of Detroit and St Louis ahead of KC and the minors are looking good so far today too
  19. Another 2 runs for Chattanooga in the second inning, Harrison with a triple, imagine Buxton would have gotten 5 bases on that one
  20. Well remember now, we have 13 pitchers(unneeded) , so we have to give them all some pitching time, sarcasm.............................why 13 when we havnt needed our 12th pitchers much this yr, and after just coming off 2 off days.
  21. Wow, it doesnt have to be said if you are watching, but Gibsons ball is really moving, and his slider , if kept low is a fantastic pitch.......also he seems to be going in and out and up and down, if he pitches like this all the time, he could be a #2 pitcher, but he has to keep having some K's....so far today has been fabulous
  22. Robinson, Schafer, Nunez, Herrman, Hunter shouldnt be on team next yr, and Escobar, if on team, should be utility infielder only......So that leaves 7, about right.........not to say they wont have more, but that is how I would do it..........they will be a good topic coming up , who to leave on and off 40 man for Rule 5 purposes.
  23. Max 20, but i would love to be wrong!!!!
  24. 1 hit in 7 innings, time for the bats to come back alive!!!!!!
  25. Again Hughes was only at 89!!!!!!! Unless he asked out, and i cant think he did, no reason not to be in their for the 8th inning.
