    'Most ready' for a promotion doesnt mean 'ready' or ready for MLB, there is also AAA that most , not all prospects go thru before getting to the SHOW..........So nowhere did Dougie say Polanco is MLB ready, that is what you read , not what was said.

    Any particular reason that Tonkin keeps getting the call and not Achter???? I am guessing he will come up at some point this yr, mostly because of poor performance by a couple of the veteran relievers.

    To me it looks like Gibby ball is moving well, the Segura HR was just a good hit by Segura, the LeCroy HR got a little to much of the plate, but was in the lower quadrant, so not a good pitch, but not a horrible pitch either.

    Just heard somewhere earlier today , he did do it in a major league game. I want to say 1995. Edit: Sept 28 , 1995 while pitching for the Expos he pitched both hands vs Reds.

    Somebody had said something about a trap game, i am worried about a trap series..........in the past(and this is a different team in many ways) we have seemingly struggled against rookie pitchers and pitchers that were struggling themselves, we were the other team potion to make things right.......Lets not let that happen anymore

    I am not sure what is going to happen when Santana comes back, but if it is a hard choice, that means we are still doing well, so it will be good to have a tough choice..........but Milone is basically the first odd man out, then not sure after that, my guess, if all stays close to the same, May to the bullpen, not saying that is what i want, just dont think Hughes, Nolasco , or Santana are going to bullpen, and if Pelfrey keeps pitching like this, not him, so most likely May, then second guess, Pelfrey.

    Great problem to have, 7 man rotation LOL.........what was it Gardy said just a couple yrs ago, "We have 5 #1's", when in actuality we had 3 #5's and 4 or 5 AAAA starting pitchers.

    He should have been running toward 2nd,IMO and if ball is caught, he can go back and tag, he wasnt going to get thrown out at 1st, from left field with the OF running toward wall.

    I seen the play different that some people apparently , alot of misperceptions IMO, if the only replays are the ones from the beginning of this thread, then my opinion hasnt changed. I would like to see a side angle, that would have been pretty much definitive.

    I didnt expect a double but Mauer should have been running and not tagging up on that, and IMO should have been at 3rd, I am critical with that opinion????
