  1. So you think Dozier is worth a former top 5 prospect??? Dang, if that is or were true , i would do it.........would you give up Sano for for Starlin Castro??
  2. Dozier for Addison Russell, and move Polanco to 2nd. If the Cubs would do that.
  3. And most major leaguers in minor rehabs dont have the adrenaline flowing like they do or will in a ream MLB game.......especially when he makes his first start........and like someone else said above, he is an avg ML pitcher, so i am not expecting greatness either, but hoping for status quo from the likes of what we have seen so far from our starting pitchers
  4. Well I dont think the strategy is for them to only face batters twice, I think the stategy is if they have a lead after 6 in a close game to use their shutdown pen to keep it that way, it has worked for KC..........if the strategy was to only face twice thru lineup, they would never get thru the 6th inning.......6 perfect innings is 18 batters.
  5. Its the Twins diagnosed as a little thing, will need TJ or rotator cuff surgery JK
  6. Someone correct me if i am wrong, but I believe their is a 2 player limit per MLB team.
  7. I didnt mean to say Kepler was better, just i believe Sano was in it 2 yrs ago, so nice to see another prospect.
  8. This is what I was hoping for, but I thought Sano might get the nod instead of Kepler. Good for Kepler.
  9. You also have to remember , he doesnt have alot of projection left , as do alot of 21 yr olds, he is pretty close to being what he is going to be, again IMO.........if he was a lanky 6'5 kid with his stuff and still had projection, I would put a #1 tag on him.
  10. Sorry somewhere we got off topic, maybe my fault
  11. Well i am sure if i went thru prospect books , i could find many who had these qualities(and i dont think Berrios' scouting report says he has a plus curveball), who didnt make it..........as i have stated before, I would love to be wrong, and would love to see him as a 1 or 2, but I will be happy if he is a 3.............I just dont see the dominance it takes to be anything more than a 3 IMO
  12. Alot of pitchers are good at pitching, some are #1's some are #5's and some are relievers. Now isnt that quite an answer also. Or is it that only Twins prospects in some people opinions are going to be good?
  13. Why do you think Berrios will be good, cuz your expectations are high? Or his results show he will be a #1 or #2?
  14. So , i have to ask, are you basing your assumptions on Berrios on results or expectations???? Because his results have been good but not great at AA, now your expectations are higher than the results he has displayed at AA............I dont want to get into a big debate about it, cuz I would love to be wrong, and when i debate, dammit, i want to be right LOL
  15. I agree with most posters, that Sale wont or shouldnt even be in trade talks, he is pretty young with a good contract..........but if he was for sale, I would do Berrios and Sano.......Sano has a CHANCE to be special, but Berrios is way overrated by most Twins posters on here.......IMO Berrios has a #3 pitcher ceiling. Nice to have, but can be found or made.
  16. I definitely think Kepler is a 100 possibility, I am not so sure of Gonsalves or Hu, but if they stay strong in second half, i give it a maybe, how is that for staying on the fence LOL
  17. Miggy is just so fun to watch bat, so nonchalant, but doesnt seem to miss anything that is a mistake.
  18. Probably Miguel Cabrera, i didnt take into account any former Twins, otherwise, I have always been a Micheal Cuddyer fan.
  19. This is Buxton???!!!!!! Dang, I long for the days of Hicks!!!!
  20. Yes Babe Ruth, but why no mention of Aaron over Mays, i think it is close, but I would take Aaron. More HR's , more RBI's, better base stealing percentage. OPS basically the same, more BB's........close but............
  21. I am not a Boyer fan, but it does change the whole inning.
  22. I believe i was there, it was in the 11th, as i was walking out if we didnt score in the 11th LOL
  23. Like alot of games, this is one we seem to try to be giving away.
  24. I heard a collective clap for a DL stint after that slide. I mean that in a bad way.
