  1. Any way Dalton Hicks gets a chance if he keeps hitting? He is certainly off to a good start this year.
  2. That's true. I just figured if you are going to take a SS that high it probably means you expect him to stick at short. Anything can happen and I hope they draft the best player they can get.
  3. I know you're supposed to draft the best player available and not exactly for need, but would the Twins take a shortstop with the #6 pick after drafting Nick Gordon last year?
  4. http://m.mlb.com/video/v81918783/minkc-arcia-drops-moustakas-fly-ball-in-the-6th/?c_id=mlb
  5. I think Escobar got the short end of the stick after how he performed last year. If they are sticking with Santana, then he really needs a full year out there unless he isn't hitting. That relay throw was really humming to the plate
  6. There have been some encouraging pitching performances by guys who aren't all highly rated prospects to start the year. Hopefully that continues.
  7. Bad defensive fundamentals, or bad fundamentals in general, at the MLB level and a team that looks like it doesn't care is on the coaching. Fortunately, it has only been 7 games. However, even if the team improves on those things, this team is still bad how it is currently constructed.
  8. I was just using the information given to me by the video He really crushed that ball though.
  9. Nice day from Aaron Hicks! Hopefully he keeps that up for a couple more weeks.
  10. I hope MLB makes in market streaming a thing sometime this year so I don't have to find random websites to stream the games.
  11. I mean, Ervin Santana can't lose us games when he isn't pitching.
  12. I would rather have Hicks on the roster as well. However, I feel like it is too early to give up on him and having him as the 4th outfielder is doing that. I also don't think he has shown enough to be on the roster right now.
  13. I would much rather have Shane Robinson on the active roster than Aaron Hicks right now. If Hicks is going to be what we want him to be, he has to play every day and prove he can hit. After the last two years and how he performed in spring training, he has no business being on the 25 man until he can prove it in AAA. Hopefully he proves it early in the season.
  14. What did he mean when he said the Twins gave him a really good college package with his signing bonus?
  15. I'm going to be down in Florida next week. Would I be able to watch the practices or do I have to have certain credentials for that?
  16. I'm not even considering trading Buxton at this point unless it involves getting Clayton Kershaw for the rest of his career Also, I think we should be careful when talking about trading Dozier. He is a great fielding second baseman that has developed some power and plate discipline as well as being an aggressive baserunner. To go along with all of that he seems to be a really nice guy and great person to have in the organization. That's someone I would want to hold onto as long as he is performing.
  17. I don't know any information on the situation besides what is in this article, but I feel like one of the best hitters in the league should be playing in your playoff games.
  18. I don't think it's implausible for the Twins to make the playoffs this year. I can't believe the starting pitchers won't be better than last year. We have a respectable rotation now in my opinion as long as Nolasco was a fluke last year and Phil Hughes wasn't a complete fluke. The offense was good overall last year. I have to wonder if we'll see the same production this year. It's not impossible for the Twins to make the playoffs this year. There are just too many question marks still to think it is likely to happen.
  19. Why are people not as high on Lewis Thorpe this year? Those numbers look solid to me, especially when you consider how young he is. Is it the higher walk rate?
  20. Do we think the Twins are willing to use a bullpen spot on Meyer/May/Pelfrey/Milone/whoever doesn't make the rotation? Or is that just what we think they should do?
