    For a team that does not sign FA and a catcher on his last non-FA year I am still curious about their plans (I assume they have some. Extension? Should have been done already.

    Yes and we are no longer a threat. We got a long list of Gallo - Outman additions to the starters and we often held on too long.

    Falvey is gone but what is Zoll's approach? Falvey wanted the team to play whoever he acquired. Will they still have that allegiance to guy's like Outman, Roden, etc? This roster looks really weak until we push Walker, Rodriguez and Gonzales to the front of the line and see Wallner, Larnach, Martin, Roden out of the starting discussion. Pitching has to sort itself out in ST. I hope nothing is guaranteed beyond Lopez, Ryan and SWR. Otherwise we have Ober who lost his mojo last year and Abel, Mattews, Bradley, Festa who all come with great expectations, but miserable MLB accomplishments. Wait and see. For the sad BP - cycle in our prospects, we have gone beyond quality pickups on the outside unless you trade our OFs for something. Kreidler - I have no hopes or expectations for. Compared to Castro and Farmer this is a giant step backwards.

    I just can't get on the band wagon. If it was so simple - take a minor league starter and make him a reliever - then every team would do it. Good luck Twins - I hope your magic formula works. At least we have the numbers 3,4/5 RP set.

    He might turn out okay, but he does not have the athletic movement that I hoped to see. He would profile 1Bm maybe 2B or OF But you are right I did not see hi, enough to really judge - I hope he makes it and I hope my impressions were wrong. I just don't see quickness being taught,

    There are a lot of assumptions based on ????? Wait and see I remember when Falvey and Lavine were going to lead us to the promised land. I don't know anything about Zoll and what he will do so no judgement or expectations for me.

    Please stop with the pipeline analogy - unless we think of sludge, This list was interesting and I was glad to read about them, but there isn't much promise here. And I am not a Winokur fan - I wish him well, but seeing him in person lowered expectations. When you get to the inevitable Outfield pipeline it will be a more interesting list.

    Falvey was going to be gone. Reading TD all these years he went from hope to bust in fan perspectives. What happened to Levine? In the end we traded Joe for Tom - does anyone see that as a 10 game improvement?

    It isn't the split that fascinates me it's the timing. Like the Trump administration they chose a Friday afternoon, and so did the Vikings, to make this dramatic statement and change. Outside the new side the news cycle and over a weekend when people are distracted.

    It is not anger. I enjoyed the article - it is my feeling that these players are not generating enthusiasm and Sabato has been a disappointment since his draft so I don't see him getting ink except for ST.

    Not a comment on the deal, but a general disgust with the business of baseball - inflated salaries, owners playing games with fan loyalty. $6 illion - $13 million - it means nothing to me. To unrealistic for a social security senior. But I don't care about the money - they have - they spend it. Fine. But we are coming to a point where we need soccer leagues - the champion division and the hopefuls.

    How about dropping the pipeline nonsense and just give us a prospect ranking for each position. We have watched the pipeline dribble out Julien - bust. Keaschall - looks good so far but I see lots of questions about 2B We dripped Martin but no one lists him at 2B any more. Miranda - gone We just had a big pipeline explosion in Pine COUNTY I thought it must belong to the Twins
