  1. I don't know, the Brewers are a really hard team to take 3 of 4 from especially with their depth all the way through their roster
  2. Yeah, but they only had one game, not counting this one since then, a 1-0 loss to the Astros in 2022
  3. I think that most Twins fans know that Rocco wasn't the biggest problem in their collapse. It showed in the Athletic survey with 98.5 percent of fans calling for the team to be sold. If given the choice between firing Rocco, or replacing Derek Falvey, most Twins fans would probably chose to keep Rocco and replace Falvey. I don't think that Rocco was a terrible manager, but I do think that bringing in a new face in the managerial position could work to the benefit of the team. I hope that whoever takes over as the manager continues the increased aggressiveness that the Twins showed at the end of this year.
  4. Knowing the Twins, they will probably end up picking 8th anyway, but I am looking forward to the draft lottery, and hoping they manage a top 3 pick if only for financial reasons with added slot value that comes with a top pick
  5. I think that the L.V.P. should be someone who had high expectations coming in. If I had to choose one I would go with Bailey Ober, because coming in to the year he was one of the top 25 or so Starting Pitchers in baseball, and he was borderline unpitchable for a lot of the season. I am still optimistic that he will bounce back in 2026, but he is my choice for LVP this year. As for me I would go with Buxton, Ryan, and Jeffers, but Clemens and Keaschall were also very good in their time with the Twins this season.
  6. I'm trying to figure out how that is pronounced. Jrejory?
  7. A pro for the Twins that is not normally thought about is that Minnesota is a nice place to live, and decently affordable. We also have a very good farm system, but if I was a potential manager, I would be concerned about the ownership not spending enough money to support a young core. I know that the Rockies are terrible, but they are consistently pulling 30,000 fans to every game no matter how bad it is. If they were just a smidge better, I could easily see them being one of the top openings of these 8, but they are so bad, I don't know how much it matters. I would love for the Twins to bring in a former player like Morneau or Hunter. and if that can't happen. I would want a old school manager who is going to take control of the clubhouse, and not rely on the front office for everything.
  8. Thanks for letting me know. I was only counting those on the active roster which is why I didn't include Headrick and Gil. Luis Gil will definitely be added though.
  9. Well, the Twins weren't anywhere near the postseason this year, but there are a lot of ex-twins in the postseason. Last Updated: October 28 Bold: Eliminated Cubs Caleb Theilbar: 3 2/3 IP, (0.00 ERA, 1.36 WHIP, 5 Ks) Taylor Rogers: 1 IP, 0.00 ERA, 0.00 WHIP Willi Castro: Defensive Substitute in WC game 2, did not hit Padres Luiz Arraez: 2 for 11, (.182/.182/.182) Reds Emilio Pagan: DNP Spencer Steer: 3 for 8, .375/.444/.375 (Never debuted with Twins, but was in organization for a while Zack Littell: 3 1/3 IP (8.10 ERA, 1.80 WHIP) 2 Ks Tigers Chris Paddack: DNP (Not on Active Roster) Dodgers Ben Rortvedt: 3 for 7, .429/.500/.571 Phillies Jhoan Duran: 3 2/3 IP (0.00 ERA, 1.36 WHIP, 7 SOs) Harrison Bader: 1 for 2, (.500/.500/.500) Max Kepler: 2 for 12 (.167/.333/.417) Mariners Jorge Polanco: 10 for 48 (.208/.269/.417) 3 HRs Mitch Garver: 2 for 7 (.286/.333/.571) Luke Raley: 0 for 4 (.000/.200/.000) (Organization) Blue Jays Jose Berrios: Has not played Louis Varland: 13 IP (4.15 ERA, 1.08 WHIP, 15 Ks) Ty France: 1 for 3 (.333/.333/.333) Jeff Hoffman (Brief Stint in Twins System in 2023) 10 IP (0.90 E.R.A, 0.80 WHIP, 14 Ks) Isaiah-Kiner Falefa: 5 for 29 (.172/.200/.241) Guardians: None Yankees Luis Gil (Organization) 2 2/3 IP, (6.75 ERA, 1.50 WHIP, 2 Ks) Brent Headrick (Not on Active Playoff Roster) Red Sox: Rob Refsnyder: (0 for 5) .000/.167/.000 Brewers Trevor Megill: 4 IP (2.25 ERA, 1.00 WHIP, 5 Ks) This is a lot of players. Some of them were good with the Twins, others weren't. Which of these players do you wish were still with the Twins? Which of them are you glad are gone? Let me know if I missed anyone.
  10. Most likely the new manager will want new pitching and hitting coaches. I'm not entirely sure how much of a difference the coaches make, but there has been a lot of struggles on the hitting side. It is Borgschulte's first year, so I will be surprised if he gets let go but I will not be upset if the Twins decide to move on from either Maki or Borgschulte.
  11. I think Matthews has a high of making the opening day rotation in 2026. He has shown some flashes, and I like him a lot as a pitcher. Mick Abel probably won't be on the opening day roster unless there are some trades or injuries. Aside from his one good start versus Philadelphia, he was pretty bad. I am not denying the upside but he still has stuff to prove, and with a crowded rotation, he might not be one of the top 5 starters as of now, but he will probably get there. Most likely Kendry Rojas' future with the Twins is as a bullpen arm, along with Priellipp. I am very interested in seeing how it turns out in 2026
  12. Edouard Julien has no future with the Twins. He was good for a time in 2023, but has not been good since. Kody Clemens is fine, but if the Twins want to have a playoff caliber team, they need to bring in a backup first basemen. Carlos Santana would be a nice addition to back up Clemens, and provide some occasional pop
  13. Great win. Lots of young starting pitching for the Twins that makes me optimistic about the future of the Twins especially heading into 2026. My guess is Abel doesn't start the season with the Twins because S-W-R is out of options, and he has been good enough to be considered for a starting role. It would be really nice to see Buxton steal a base tomorrow to go 35-25.
  14. Considering its capacity is 38,544, I'd say it's been a while
  15. This might be a bit old, but Kody Funderburk also looks like Outman and Fitzgerald
  16. I don't know if anyone's noticed, but despite the Twins scoring 5 runs today, they have struck out 11 times today
  17. Would have liked to see Abel keep pitching. It's surprising to see him pulled in his final start of the year after only 73 pitches. Still an amazing start
  18. If only we could clone Jeffers like Fitzgerald and Festa, then we wouldn't have to worry about resigning Vazquez as our backup catcher next year
  19. You seem to be in a optimistic mood today, I agree that he probably is not getting fired, but I'm not sure if it is merited
  20. Only 73 pitches, he should at least start the seventh
