    Lewis was at third so SS was the only spot for Lee. Keaschall was at second. Shelton showed is true value by getting Lewis to buy in on moving to 1st and moving Keaschall to the outfield. I don't think Baldelli would have thought of those moves or gotten the player to go along with them.

    A catcher has more value to a team than just what he does at the plate. How he handles pitchers. throwing, pitch framing, challenging pitch call on and on.

    The Twins have an opening on the 40. Alex Jackson was removed. I agree with he Rodriguez move though. The Twins need to get an idea of how he would do in the big time.

    The Twins are trying to make the playoffs. They have already rushed Cuplpepper to the big team. He is not setting the world on fire at this point Now you think they should bring up another rookie and put him in the lineup? That is putting a lot of pressure on them, It is hard enough for a player to make the step from Triple A to the bigs. Dropping them in the middle of a pennant race and expecting immediate success is expecting a lot

    It was about a 50/50 chance. He ran a long way to get there and was not at a good angle to it. An experienced outfielder chances would be a lot better. But I have also seen experienced outfielders make worse errors. These guys are human, they mess up sometimes..

    Oh get real. The guy has been playing the outfield for something like two months. A mid season switch. Hunter and Lara have (had) years of experience in the outfield. I bet Hunter and Lara would look a bit green at 2nd base after playing 2 months also. How do you think you would do at your job if your boss switched your position? I bet you would make some mistakes too.

    Keashall is probably the best hitter on the team right now. The Twins are in the middle of a Wild Card chase and you want to bench their hottest hitter bring up another unproven rookie? How is rushing Culpepper working out? I sure am glad you are not the GM. je

    If they option Jackson, he will not clear waivers. Jeffers will most likely be gone next season, Jackson has a lot of value as Caratini's backup next season..

    A genuine shot at the World Series this year? Your kidding. The Twins are a couple of year away from that. They now have a genuine shot at a Wild Card. and they held onto all their top prospects, except Hill doing it.

    They didn't hang onto Varland...get over it..

    The White Sox and Guardians made some big moves. The Twins did not (at least yet, barring in last minute moves) mess with the big league team. The Tiger sand Royals pretty much threw in the towel.

    they gave up Dasan Hill and John Klein. and a minor league infeilder Toronto like MN native pitchers I guess. Two of their top 20 prospects. I like Hill, but he is having a down year

    It will probably be Rojas that is optioned.

    Funderburk was in the dugout tonight. I don't know if they have made a move yet. Funderburk has been looking good too. The whole pen has picked it up. LaTroy seems to have done a good job. So has the whole coaching staff.

    Agreed I am impressed so far. But he will probably get sent out when Minter joins the team

    Anderson has looked promising so far. I have read so many comments about how the Twins would be in 1st place if the Varland and Duran. That is impossible to predict and Gomez and Morris would not have been given their opportunities to step up. Both have become bullpen staples. Gomez probably would not even be on the team

    The last time I looked the Twins are one of the leading teams with runners on base

    The Twins just put Buxton on the IL and recalled Gray. Why not recall Wallner and showcase him the rest of the week. Just to see if he could up his trade value. He is a guy who has the potential to bloom with a change of scenery
