Which are you suggesting? 1) The Twins are lying about the injection Santana received in his finger? 2) The Twins forced Santana to have a medical procedure done, against his will, for the sole purpose of shutting him down as a form of punishment? Both are extremely far fetched, enough so that perhaps you should step back and ask yourself if you are being completely objective in your evaluation of them. -
If Rodgers plays the whole game, it'll be close, despite the Vikings being far more talented top to bottom. That's just the reality of an elite QB. If Rodgers is out, it should be a blowout.

He's under control for 4 more years after this year, and will still be making the league minimum next year. I doubt the Tigers would be motivated to move him.

I'd be pretty shocked if the Angels tear down and rebuild while they still have the best player in baseball. Not commenting whether that's a smart decision or not, but I'd be shocked if they go that way.

There are always levels of bad, IMO. A backup sitting on his couch waiting for a call seems likely to be worse than a backup already on a team.

Well I'll never agree. I want my team to win a SB, and I don't really care how they do it. They've cashed in more SB wins during Rodger's tenure than my team has in it's entire history. Calling it luck just comes off like sour grapes to me.

He wouldn't go to Rule V. We would have to send him through waivers in order for him to theoretically be eligible for Rule V, and waiver claims are less restrictive than Rule V pickups, so anyone who wants him would just claim him rather than select him in Rule V.

I doubt any player in the minors wants to be in the minors. He's still under team control for quite some time. It's not his decision.

So you think they are bad executives, don't know what they are doing, and aren't trying to win. But at the same time you think that the Red Sox or Cubs are going to offer them high level positions? That's more than a little bit contradictory.

I disagree that the Packers didn't earn it. You say he fell into their lap, but they still took him, even though they didn't need a QB at the time. The Vikings passed on him twice.

You can scratch #4. Collins is out for the season.

His OPS barely above league average, which includes catchers and shortstops and centerfielders. So, I don't agree that Palka hits enough to have any value at DH. Just because the Twins are also trotting out replacement level DH/ reserve corner outfielders doesn't change that he's a replacement level player. I'd hope the answer is neither to guys like him or Grossman.

No such thing as a bad win in the NFL. But if the defense lets guys get that open against Brady, Brees, and Rodgers, they won't be as fortunate. On paper though, they certainly have the personnel to tighten some of that stuff up.

I gotta say, this Vikings defense hasn't been nearly as dominant as I thought they'd be. They're actually kind of getting torched. Some bad throws and drops have kept the score lower than it should be. The niners have had guys beat deep all day, and the pass rush has disappeared at times.

Well that was just awful. Hopefully they get their 2 minute drill cleaned up. And am I the only one who though 6 seconds was plenty of time for a 5-7 yard sideline throw to setup a long FG?

Also, Treadwell can't play, period. Stop playing him just because he was a first round pick. Busts happen, move on.

My way too soon to mean anything reaction so far? I thought we hired DeFilippo, not Norv Turner. I sure hope we don't plan to be as vanilla as that first drive was.

It would be pretty tough to win a game with a pitcher and 8 DH's. DH are penalized for good reason. A DH needs much more bat than .757 to be impactful. Baseball is more than just a hitting contest.
