  1. Good test tonight. Boston's starting pitching is legit. Glad Alcala is back. Bummed about Buxton. Go Twins!!
  2. I didn't realize how many games Bowman pitched in during 2016 and 2017. Surprised the guy's arm didn't fall off after that.
  3. Like everything else that's been discussed this season, there's what the Twins 'should' do and what they 'will likely' do. I think Castro will get the majority of playing time in CF - especially with Miranda looking comfortable at 3B - and Martin will get the call when Castro either needs a day off or is shifting to the infield to give Miranda or Correa a breather. I don't think we'll see Margot in CF and his role isn't going to change a lot from what it's been over the last month. For once, I don't think the 'should do' is too far off from what they 'will do'. We can certainly argue that they could have given themselves better options - but that's not the discussion here.
  4. Yup. Producing and looks way better at the plate. That AB against Kopech where he hit the sacrifice fly - I don't think I've seen better plate discipline from him.
  5. I don't think they would move on from Castro - even if / when Buxton and Lewis get back, we're not talking about the most durable players. You need an insurance policy and Castro's as good as you're going to find. Thielbar, my personal opinion is they 'should' move on and let Funderburk get the spot. But, I can't see it happening. He has Rocco's trust, right or wrong, and he's a big part of the clubhouse. Farmer, see Castro and Thielbar. He's an insurance policy and even when struggling to produce, is probably the team's best leader next to Correa. Santana - possibly. Especially with Miranda's emergence. You could have Miranda and AK at first base and Santana has little to no value at that point. But if the front office kept trotting Gallo out last year for as long as they did, I don't think they're going to dump Santana anytime soon. Jackson - yes, please. And bring Alacala back. Margot - yes, please. Hasn't worked out and isn't necessarily needed even with Buxton headed to the IL.
  6. E-Rod might not be ready. AK could be at first full time and no telling what will happen with Wallner.
  7. Is it crazy to say that the Twins should re-sign Max this winter...
  8. Also shows good things happen when you put the ball in play...
  9. Knee soreness might be better news than a hammy...
  10. Yup. Not a cleanly pitched game by any stretch.
  11. I think it says a lot for the Twins, actually. Beating a team 6 straight times in such a short span of time - I think its hard to do.
  12. I do, but law of averages - 7 straight against one team isn't easy...
  13. Playing a team 7 times in a week isn't easy...
  14. Can't wait for Flexen to get out of this game.
