Cleveland is going to fall off a cliff and the Royals don't scare me at all. If the Twins stay reasonably healthy, they will win the division. But anything after that, it's not happening with this pen. And that's a bitter pill to swallow after we were told it was the best in baseball and the focus of the front office attention this winter. -
Blue Jays 10, Twins 8: Early Lead Falls Apart

Varland and Alcala for Jackson and Okert. Louie and Alcala have their issues but both have more arm talent and give the Twins a higher ceiling if they are pitching well.- 55 replies

Blue Jays 10, Twins 8: Early Lead Falls Apart

I totally drank the Kool Aid when it came to the bullpen but in hindsight, the Twins patched together a bunch of DFA candidates and sold us a bill of goods. This pen is bad. Really bad. And they need to be smart and cut their losses before it costs them more games.- 55 replies

And when Stewart gets back, dump Okert.
-
Varland should get Jackson's spot.
-
Bullpen sucked but bats went cold against an equally bad pen.
-
Oh well.
-
Jackson...
-
Best bullpen in baseball, lol.
-
This could get ugly.
-
Schneider and Jensen are cartoon characters.
-
Gonna need 10-12 runs today.
-
Nicely done...
-
Would be nice to see SWR settle down here...
-
Correa's swing is text book. Joy to watch this man.
-
I'm just going to say it. Best catcher in baseball?
-
Sometimes for a young pitcher, getting a big lead, you tend to get a little complacent. SWR was locked in against Seattle. Not as much today.

Weird stuff happens when Jax is on the mound...
-
Don't nibble Jax...go at them.

RBI single for Max...
-
Max is so incredibly clutch.
-
I really wish there was a way to keep Max...
-
Yup. He got better as the season went on last year and he's doing the same in 2024.
-
Guess this is a game for Staumont to get the rust off...

I was done with this crew last night when the 1B ump said Haniger didn't go around - should've been inning over - almost resulted in disaster.
