  1. Doesn't do slumps or running hard down the first base line.
  2. That's a really bad job, Larnach. Up 3-0 and you strike out swinging at ball 4.
  3. Yeah. He was cleared for baseball activities a while ago. When the rehab stint didn't start shortly thereafter, just had a feeling...
  4. I'm beginning to think we won't see Buck or Correa again this season.
  5. But he's a nice guy and the Twins win more than lose in 2024 so long as it's the White Sox!
  6. At some point, folks need to be held accountable for how this team plays against everyone besides the White Sox.
  7. Interesting. Looks like that line-up completely ignores the openers and goes with the bulk starters. If it is Alexander, better believe Rocco has Helman, Farm Dog and Martin ready!
  8. I guess Tonkin because he pitched last night? Hellman seems to be the likely choice to go when Buck's back.
  9. At the end of the day, this team has ZERO margin for error. That's on the front office and ownership.
  10. Not playing Larnach and Wallner. Not advancing the runners in the 9th. That's on Rocco. Larnach or Wallner probably make the catch that Martin butchered.
  11. Morneau mentioned it earlier in the season. There's something to be said for batters getting comfortable with their place in the lineup. Zero consistency in that regard and I don't see it from any other teams like I do with the Twins.
  12. Without Buck and Correa, you can't afford to go with the all righty lineup. Wallner and Larnach need to play everyday.
  13. Festa deserves a better fate. Solid showing tonight.
  14. Anyone else pleasantly surprised with Larnach? Going into spring training this year, it was tough to envision him as a contributor in 2024 let alone potentially being a long-term piece. He's come a long way.
  15. High-leverage arms likely not available tonight out of the pen, although I guess it is possible that Duran goes for a third straight game. Hopefully Festa can give them 6 innings and they can piece things together from there. Springs is the type of lefty that gives the Twins fits.
  16. Royals will not contend next year. Lugo and to an extent Wacha are fool's gold. There's not much in the minors and Perez is going to eventually lose out to Father Time. Even with Witt and Pasquatini, unless they become exorbitant spenders, the Royals look like a .500 team. Cleveland will shed payroll. Naylor and/or Clase will be moved instead of getting the hefty arbitration raises. If the baseball gods simply stop frowning down on the Twins and give Correa and Lewis 135 games and keep the starting pitchers healthy, 2025 could be special.
  17. T-Bar, Blewitt, Castillo and Tonkin likely available tomorrow out of the pen.
