Settle down, Jax... -
Why is Gasper on the team instead of Martin?
-
Props to Alcala.
-
Element of surprise was there...
-
That's a balk.
-
Pig just flew by my window....
-
This is awful.
-
19...and counting.
-
2-0 feels like 22-0 in the bottom of the 9th with two outs.
-
They would also need the opposing team to throw a beach ball.
-
White Sox about to blow it open...
-
I owe Popkins an apology...

It's time to retire the "angry for the sake of it" gimmick
Twins_Fan_in_NJ commented on William Malone's blog entry in William Malone IV blogs about Twins
Be angry at the totality of the situation, which is 0-4 and playing like the worst team in baseball. -
SWR bailed the Twins out last year. He had some solid starts until he ran out of gas. Needs to do it again tonight.

What's weird to me about Rocco is that when he played, he was the ultimate effort guy and was known for his hustle and energy. He's the exact opposite as a manger and doesn't hold his players to anywhere near that standard. More successful managers than Rocco have hit a wall with their team and needed to move on. The Twins are at that point and probably reached it last September.

Good post. Mets came to mind for me. I didn't realize the Astros got off to such a slow start. One would like to think that the starting pitching will be a legitimate strength but they'll need to start winning some games where the offense can only scratch 2-3 runs.

Correa's been praised for his leadership for the last several years. Now might be the time to show it.
-
lol. Julien looking at his cleats in disbelief. That's not the issue...
-
I hope they're no-hit.
-
Yup. If nothing else, just take your lumps with your teammates.
-
Was wondering the same.
-
Why would even send him out to start the 4th, lol...
-
Rocco is fortunate that the media in Minnesota is nice or maybe just disinterested. If he pulled that crap in New York or Boston...
-
Yeah, true. Alcala was forced to wear that one but it was more about Rocco than anything else.
-
Nice job there, Miranda.
