Welp, that was a bad loss.

Momentum in baseball is the next day's starting pitcher. I think Paddack comes through tomorrow.

    The zubaz pants!
  4. Twins_Fan_in_NJ
    Yup. Thanks, Hubie.

Nice win. Didn't get to watch. Everything okay with Ober? Pulled after four?
  6. Twins_Fan_in_NJ
Runs will be tough for the Twins to come by. Spaghetti can pitch. Hopefully Ober is back to his old self.
  7. Twins_Fan_in_NJ
Arrighetti has really good stuff. Runs will be hard to come by on Saturday. Hopefully Ober can match him.

The balk was a killer. 3 balks in 7 games.

    Announced: 36,783.

Offense continues to be a work in progress. And they have to clean up the little stuff. Ryan with a balk. Bader with the misplay.

    lol, yup.
  12. Twins_Fan_in_NJ
lol. Altuve is so unpopular. You'd think the Twins were ahead in this one and it was the last out in the game.
  13. Twins_Fan_in_NJ
Oh well. Not gonna happen today.
  14. Twins_Fan_in_NJ
Brown has dominant stuff. Not surprised the bats scuffled today. But through 6.5 innings, it's another one of those games, where little mistakes add up and the Twins can't recover. Hopefully a rally is coming...

Alcala's ERA is under 14 now!
  16. Twins_Fan_in_NJ
Started off with a bang. Looking like it fizzled out :(

Was hoping a new hitting coach would improve the tendency to swing at stuff outside of the zone, but so far, it's been a repeat of 2022, 2023 and 2024.

I've wanted Bader on the Twins since he went on a heater for the Yankees in the 2022 post-season. He's got an it factor and personality that the Twins have been lacking for a long time. Going to be ups and downs over the course of 162 games but I think he's going to be a fan favorite before long.

I suspect that Rocco goes with Miranda at 3B and Castro at 2B...but, I'd really like to see Julien get the nod. He had some good swings last night and could be ready to break-out.
  20. Twins_Fan_in_NJ
Nicely done, boys. Some good swings today... especially Julien. Maybe he's going to repeat his 2023 performance.
  21. Twins_Fan_in_NJ
I'd be shocked if they played today. But, if they do...start a winning streak!
  22. Twins_Fan_in_NJ
Bader is easy to root for. Not a perfect player but has some major energy and excitement to his game.
  23. Twins_Fan_in_NJ
    Boom!
  24. Twins_Fan_in_NJ
    Insurance runs... please.
  25. Twins_Fan_in_NJ
