  1. 💩 per Matthew Leach: Alan Roden suffered a shoulder injury and will be “down from all activity“ for about four weeks, per Zoll. He is not expected to need surgery. More details to come on the site later today.
  2. Twins are losing Jeffers after 2026 and the catcher pool is shallow. Lackey seems like the best fit and athlete at 3.
  3. Wagaman DFAd, Twins claimed RHP Christian Roa from Houston.
  4. Two MLB debuts on the mound. Bullpen goes five innings and only gives up one run. This one is on the offense again. Not going to win too many games when you only score two and can’t do anything with runners in scoring position.
  5. SWR fb in the low 90s tonight. He hasn’t been right.
  6. Jenkins, Gonzalez, and Fedko have all homered for the Saints.
  7. Probably shouldn’t platoon him, but he is not starting tonight against a righty.
  8. Per Bobby N: Connor Prielipp will make his MLB debut Wednesday night, starting for the #MNTwins against the Mets. The Twins' rotation for the upcoming series is now: Tues - Woods Richardson Wed - Prielipp Thurs - Joe Ryan
  9. Reeling Mets against reeling Twins. Someone has to win these games. Good to see, hopefully they both get a chance to pitch. Thanks for explaining the taxi squad. I was a little unsure of how that worked.
  10. Thanks for the excellent recap. They probably aren’t as bad as they were this week or as good as they were the previous week. I am thankful that my weekend was pretty busy and I didn’t have time to watch any of these games.
  11. Was hoping Zoll would be a little different, but this Org likes to drag out an IL decision and run short.
  12. Per Bobby N: Matt Wallner was scratched from today’s Twins lineup. Rib discomfort from when he was hit by a pitch Friday. James Outman will start in right field.
  13. Painful to watch the good vibes evaporate the last three games. But the defense, bullpen, and un-RISPy hitting is all heading back to what we saw during the 3-6 start. Too bad because they were fun to watch for about 10 games there.
  14. Twins need to stop running with a 25.5 man roster. Not a good use of that spot. The IF defense could use a boost, it cost us the past two games. I vote for Kreidler!
  15. 0-4 w/RISP and 9 LOB - this offense has been feast or famine. Good job by the pitching staff today.
  16. Jim Bowden looking for clicks. To quote Charles Barkley “turrible”
  17. I read an article on mlb.com, that Lewis thinks he’ll be back in New York against the Mets next week. That being said, the players aren’t always the best source for this type of information. If the Twins sell again at the deadline, we’ll see some of these guys called up. They could also start hitting their way into the discussion, but none of them are really lighting up AAA at this point. Unless they are playing nearly every day, it is better to leave them in Saint Paul.
  18. Was crushed when Pablo went down but the rotation has been a strength. Abel and SWR have both had 2 good games and 2 clunkers. Abel is trending in the better direction though. My biggest question is how long can Ober keep this up? Morris and Prielipp seem to be the next in line based on performance. Matthews has been disappointing.
  19. Team has been hot, can’t win them all. Run prevention is key. Defensive miscues led to the 3-6 start. SWR has had 2 good games and 2 bad games. I like him so I’m hoping he can get back on track quickly.
