  1. With Polanco and Gallo removed from the roster, there's a $20 million savings. I'd keep Farmer, he's a super utility player who can be a long-term solution if there are injuries anywhere on the infield.
  2. If the Twins were looking to replace someone, it should have been Gladden, not Bremer. Gladden's raspy voice is annoying and there are times he seems disinterested in the games. Not a fan of Atteberry either. He talks way too much, just for the sake of hearing his own voice. He's not very informational.
  3. Counting on Paddack is a fool's way to ruin. He won't stay healthy for a full season. Thinking he will, and that he'll be anywhere near good enough to replace Sonny Gray, is foolishness. Bringing back Maeda would be helpful, if we can get the 2021 version.
  4. Twins front office doesn't have the guts to admit they made a mistake on signing Gallo. Mancini would be a big upgrade.
  5. No thanks on Jeimer. He's never been any good until this season. He could be this season's Jorge Lopez.
  6. I am good with bringing in a relief pitcher like Robertson, if the cost isn't too high. No Spencer Steer or Yennier Cano trades this year, please? We also need to clear the roster of the logjam of veterans who are being unproductive. Gallo and Buxton top the list. They both swing wildly at any pitch near the zone and don't come near most of them.
  7. Good lord, no way. He'll be injured by May and will be another wasted spot on the roster. Let him be some other team's problem.
  8. Unimpressed with the new uniforms. The Twins are following the jersey patterns used by several teams that made overhauls in the past few years.
  9. I would lean toward keeping him. Miranda gives the Twins an option at first base, which is also currently a need, unless Arraez is viewed as the answer there. Urshela does have trade value as an above average third baseman. If he can bring a top quality starting pitcher in exchange, then I'd listen to trade offers.
  10. Correa showed he's not worth $30 million. He was a non-factor in too many games, then made a contract push in September. I'm good with signing Iglesias. He makes the plays and plays with energy.
