  1. Don't forget how good Abel looked early.
  2. Rays don't care about player/fans feelings. I could see a possible trade. Don't pick up Bell's option, he can be DH then. What does it cost then? They are probably asking for Houston right? I am ok with Lewis over there with Diaz/Clemens filling in on days off.
  3. Not sure any points you tried to make, i didn't read. I just had to say, no, he should not be with the team. He has been bad all year, lucked into saves.
  4. A lot of that, IMO, has to do with experience. I think they have done phenomenal, if you look at where they started.
  5. OK. Hopefully Jenkins can join that list. My point was none of our lefties can hit, roden, Wallner Outman (no longer with team) etc. I did miss Larnach too, he was in the Twins top 10
  6. I am not sure what you are saying. Clemens is the only lefty that is in the top 10.
  7. I don't disagree to an extent. I think the issue is Larnach right now. He is good offensively but average at best fielding. Roden/martin are maybe good 4th OF. I do think with some offseason work Keaschall will be good out there though (not CF).
  8. Jackson would be the other guess. Not sure. On options though.
  9. A guy who is injured every year and doesnt have ace numbers you are giving up Culpepper so you can keep watching Kriedler?
  10. We didn't really think Keaschall would do a whole lot last year, but he was pretty good.
  11. The injury issues and needing to watch his innings is why I would say this. At the beginning of the year i said Zebby has the stuff and mentality to be a closer and thought Prielipp should be in pen (for injury reasons). That being said Prielipp has been pretty good as a starter and if you had to use him for 4 innings at a time to keep him healthy, I would be ok with it. To be fair they usually take the opposite stance that the Twins do. Last year it was Jax and Varland as Starters,
  12. .279 .330 .512 .841 with 5 HR. Strikeouts are probably a little high yet but that is a lot better than slightly.
  13. I don't understand how people could be pissed about last deadline and then they are like, yes let's sell off more.
  14. I feel like he was a little slow to start this year (as was Culpepper). Last year his games at AAA were rough so if they think he is ready fine but I am also ok with him getting a little more experience against major league ready talent.
  15. They went backwards to strengthen farm. I don't see any reason to trade him. They have a good start. They need to get starters healthy but I don't see why you would trade him.
  16. He was. The problem is he doesn't throw hard enough, with the ABS. He has to be around the plate and he can't.
