  1. In his letter to the fans Falvey said we didn't deliver,so why is he not gone as well. Knowing this organization they will probably put Tingler in Rocco's place. Maybe buy a robot from Tesla to be the manager so you can program it how you want. That way you save money on paying a human manager and have the same control in the dugout.
  2. I saw this afternoon Falvey dismissed Rocco saying that he and Rocco didn't get it done. If that is the case why is it that he didn't resign after he let Rocco go. To me that is using Rocco as the sapgoat for his bad decisions. I'm not a Rocco fan at all but if my boss gutted a department and said you have 2 months to figure it out I would say see you.
  3. I have only one thing to say,see what a real manager can do. Who on this site had the Reds in the playoffs? If this isn't a good reason to cut bait with this FO and manager what is. I know the Reds have a tough road to get to the WS,but I hope they give the Dodgers all they can handle.
  4. Buxton and Lopez's personalities are something that will dictate if they stay or go. Ryan is going to be gone,he would have been gone at the deadline if his fiance wasn't with child. You can see that he is not happy and you can't have someone who doesn't want to be there.
  5. How about I did the best I could and resign. As long as you and Rocco remain this is 4th or 5th place team in the central. You have taken prospect after prospect and failed again and again. It is well past time to move on. It has become a unwatchable team with you at the helm.
  6. This is a save my job idea by Rocco!! Let's be honest Wallner,Lee and Larnach are far from fast. You now see the whole team trying to take 2nd and even 3rd base. The big problem is they can't put the ball in play with runners in scoring position. Just like the other night when Clemens hit a triple with no outs. They struck out twice and flew out, that can't happen get the ball in play.
  7. Larnach seems to be Kepler at the plate, too many ground balls to 2nd for outs. Wallner is just another Joey Gallo who pitchers know can't hit fastballs at the top of the zone. This team is full of hitters that can't get the ball in play when needed. Just last night there was 3 in the lineup hitting under 210. How about getting a lineup on the field at or above 235. This lineup is a 5th place team in the central.
  8. They dismantled the BP at the trade deadline and might as well finish the job. Is there really a solid arm left. As I have said numerous times Ryan will be traded, because he is not going to waste another year on a last place team. Ober has the problem of a below average fastball and needs to show a major uptick in that pitch. Someone his size should be able to hit 93 to 95 with ease. That is the only way his off speed pitches play. We also don't know about the things being said in the clubhouse in regards to Rocco and Falvey. There maybe is a number of players hoping to be moved.
  9. This is a 4th place team with a dozen games left at the time he came back. Pitchers only have so many pitches to throw before injuries start to happen. He should have been put on the shelf until ST.
  10. Ryan doesn't want to waste another year on a last place team. He would have been gone in July except for the fact that his fiance being with child. Everyday that goes by this organization is becoming a bigger joke. He will be looking to get back to a team in California.
  11. Keep putting this crappie product on the field and watch the profits go away. You now have 2 years in a row of 4th place in the division. Staying with the same situation next year is only going to prolong the low profits. With the White Sox playing better and having a better roster this team will be a 5th place team.
  12. Plain and simple why does it take until August 1,2025 for this team to start playing baseball. The excuse that no speed no bases doesn't fly. All of a sudden everyone is running wild. It's called his job is on the line and he knows it. Waiting for the homerun when you're lineup only has a couple of power hitters is a liability. Looking around the league there is only a handful of players with 30 or more homeruns. With this team its Buxton who in the past has missed 60+ games a season.
  13. Doesn't matter who they sign with the organization meaning ownership,FO and manager. The fan base is over anything they do. With this season now over they will be cutting payroll in the winter meetings. A smart organization would do a total rebuild like the White Sox or the Athletics. It's time to cut bait and bring up the youth and let them play with a manager and coaches to teach them the game.
  14. Reality check here,to say Lopez,Ryan and Ober will be in the rotation in 26 is unreal. SWR pitched the best he ever has,but like JJ for the Vikings let's see his next start. When he goes after hitters he looks good, but he also pitches around hitters at times. At times when he gets a lead he comes out and walks the leadoff hitter and gives runs back. Last night did show that Zebby is a long way from being ready for the show. That is now 2 starts where he put the game out of reach in the 1st inning. And yes they came back and made a game of it. But really it was over early and they are not going to win games like this.
  15. This FO and manager should not be any where near trades or a rebuild. You only have to see the mess they run out on the field. Everyday is a different lineup and fans watching bases loaded with no outs and no runs. Both Wallner and Larnach are DH talent only and because they are LH bats trade the one that gets the most in return.
  16. Keeping Rocco guarantee to be last place in division in 26. Looking at the White Sox roster they are far better than this roster by miles. The organization is now in the same place as the Rockies the Pirates and Marlins. As far as payroll goes why is it that organizations like Cleveland compete year after year with a lesser payroll. Its all about management and the Twins have none.
  17. This organization is now worse than the White Sox and as long as Falvey and Rocco are there it will remain. The game we all love is unwatchable with the Polhad's and Co running it. At the start of this season I posted the end of season standing and it was Twins in 4th. It was because Rocco was not shown the door. Using the hitting coach as the fall guy was laughable.
  18. This shows the Falvey and Rocco era can't draft or trade for solid position players. With Rocco's management strategies he wants players to play multiple positions. The only reason Keaschall is at 2nd only now is because of the TJ he is recovering from. And don't forget Rocco wanted Lewis at 2nd who did say no. This organization is a clown show and Chicago will no longer be the last place team in the division.
  19. Game was over after 1st inning, totally unwatchable. With the weather cooling much better things to do.
  20. With Lewis and numerous others seeming to be the 3rd baseman as well as numerous 1st baseman he doesn't see opportunities for his future. That makes it difficult to go out and play his best. It is time for him to move on to a different organization that he would be given a better chance.
  21. How about he wants out of the clown show that this organization has become.
  22. Get pitching but no hitting,or get hitting but no pitching. Sounds like a Rocco team effort,it is a can't watch anymore situation. Hey at least we now have football.
  23. Look at it this way they could still lose 100 games. And with the BP they have it is looking good.
  24. Here's a little timid bit it only took 8 years for Rocco to ask the team to run. The last time I looked he is the manager, you don't ask you tell them they need to run. It's long past time to put Topa on the shelf,he has been bad all year and was unable to pitch last year as well. Attendance looked like I was watching a Marlins game. Hopefully Polhad's were watching and get a hint that it is time to sell.
