  1. No problem, I didn't know you were on here!
  2. Absolutely 100% worth it and I hope more stars participate in 2026.
  3. We're dealing with alot of the narcotics down here, we had 2 people OD on fentanyl in a week in my town and they've stopped people in the south part of the state who come here from Texas and Arizona smuggling drugs. Like you said, its the world we live in.
  4. I didn't say that was purely the purpose. Nelson Cruz is a workout machine and will know how to help a guy like Arraez add more power to his game. As I said in my previous post, I wouldn't be surprised to see Arraez hit double digit homeruns playing in that park in Miami.
  5. Where do you think a large portion of the drugs that make it into the USA come from? Its not coming from Canada.
  6. There are many places to travel safely in Mexico as long as a person doesn't make themselves a target and they stay in the relative safety of specific areas, but there is a better chance that my city of 11,000 people in Kansas gets a MLB team than Mexico.
  7. None would want to live there due to all the drugs and crime. MLB wouldn't expand to a place that is on the US State Department Travel Warning list.
  8. He's been working out with Nelson Cruz during the offseasons, I can see him easily hitting double digit home runs this year.
  9. I would love to see PR get a team, since they're American it would be the only one of those options that could even remotely be realistic.
  10. Arraez becoming a power threat will add a whole different dimension to his game. Don't be surprised if he gets close to 20 homeruns in 2023 in that park in Miami.
  11. My wife (who is Puerto Rican and didn't really care much about the WBC) was beaming watching the game last night. These type of stories are what makes the WBC so much different than MLB baseball.
  12. Half of the roster would have to be on the IL for this to happen.
  13. If Lopez gets run support, I'm going over on the 10.5 wins.
  14. I think his issue is mental, he has incredible stuff but I think going into 2023 knowing he is coming out of the pen, after having an off-season with the team and their system, and the chemistry he has developed with the other players will be a major boost to his confidence.
  15. You completely missed the human element part of the Jorge Lopez story, which I have mentioned in numerous posts on this site.
  16. If he is anything close to healthy he is my pick to be the leadoff guy this season.
  17. I'll take 16-12. Hopefully they can get out to a hot start like last year and keep building
  18. I was looking forward to seeing him play in AAA for a full season to develop, he's never really had a chance to learn and grow without his limitations under the spotlight in MLB games.
  19. The Vazquez signing was a lowkey big win for the Twins, lots of attention on Gallo, Correa, Taylor and the Lopez trade but this signing was a huge upgrade. Jeffers can be a solid backup but they needed a guy like Vazquez.
  20. I'll be watching this as much as I can but I worry about injuries.
  21. Hopefully it's more of a precaution than anything major, his bat is one they need in the lineup.
