  1. Pfffft. Another bad baseball game. They are piling up.
  2. I love watching him pitch. He is a master at his craft. If only he spoke Jose's language...
  3. Buxton was not running full speed until he saw hat the ball was misplayed. Like Marwin. Like Rosie. Like too many recently. Why run hard if...
  4. The strike zone used in the graphic here is not the same strike zone used on the tv monitors we watch the game on which stop at the high belt. Which the umps cannot see. So who is to say what was missed or not.
  5. I love your middle paragraph. Berrios doesnt seem to be able to execute a game plan. Watching Maeda execute is art. Berrios is more of a finger painter.
  6. It was a game worth forgetting. And hoping we don't have any more like that. It was a long slow boring bad game

  8. That not 19 pitch at bat was not Dobnak's. Right? It was Thielbar's.
  9. Eddie thinking? Come on. Eddie was running because Eddie runs, not because he was thinking.

  11. We got outpitched and outhit. Maybe lucky to get that one game. There is no one to be excited about right now. I thought Jorge was off his game too. I will really start to worry if we don't put up some better numbers against detroit.
  12. Not getting swept is huge. Taking 2 of the 3 would be great. Our bats need to take care of business. Beat the best
  13. How many guys retooled their swings last season for that juiced up baseball? And are we now seeing the results from that as we are not using those baseballs this season? Kepler used to have one of the sweetest swings in the game. Now his lazy fly balls, and Eddie's, are easy outs. Is there enough season left to retool again?
  14. Some guys, kepler most notably, retooled their swings last season to better reach the seats with the juiced up baseball. This year I am seeing many lofty fly ball outs.

  16. Berrios' curve seems to be flatter. More gliding off the plate without getting swings and misses. Lacking in downward drop. I think we have seen this struggle before too.

  18. Kenta and I would both have been pissed off if he had been pulled while throwing a nono. You do not take a guy out unless he says so. Amen. From one former pitcher.
  19. Like all of us, I certainly hope he finds the sweet spot. Soon. What bothers me most is that he is missing 93 mph fastballs. 3 in a row. No explanation. Nothing left but hope that he catches up and figures something out. Pretty sure Rocco will support him.
  20. I dont share your Sano optimism. He is missing fastballs right in his wheelhouse, over and over.
  21. Front foot staying down for Buxton. Quick to the ball. Compact swing.l I'll keep Mollie taught him. Now consistency. And duration. He was fun to watch yesterday.
  22. Mystery meat. Good luck. I feel like we are limping along.
  23. The pen looks solid. The juggling if our starters is more of a worry for me. When the starters are all healthy we will take a big step forward. I believe that.
