    This story made me laugh, and I am still in bed. It is time to get him out of the lineup. He is a hole in the lineup. I was glad to see his descent in the batting order yesterday. Push him down even more.

    I am enjoying Larnach and Kirilloff swing their bats. But neither one of them impresses me in the outfield yet. It's the old "eye test" again. Watch them. They need coaching.

    The heart of our batting order is leaving too many guys on base. It appeared to me that KC pitched around 2 guys by walking them just so they could pitch to San0.

    Donaldson, Cruz, and San0. One of them needs to deliver. Some very non-productive at bats. It's a big hole in the heart of our lineup right now.

    I thought runners could not return towards home. If Baez had touched home plate, would any other call have been made then? That play was a first ever for me. Never saw it before.

    Great relay. Big blast. Atta bats. Shoemaker labors and wears ME out watching him. Even his 1,2,3 innings seem labor intensive. I'm happy with any win.

    Atta T'ins. It feels better than a loss. And remembering as a kid waking up in the morning and digging for the box scores in the newspaper to see who hit home runs in last night's game. Never having to read how low it was, or how soft it was or in which other stadiums it would have been an out. Just letting it be a home run..

    I agree with you. Polanco is not and has never been my short stop of choice. I was pleased to read your first post. I have been begging for a real shortstop. A specialist. Versatility is overrated imo

    It was not an infield fly rule call. They ruled that Donaldson intentionally dropped the ball. You don't have to catch it, but you cannot intentionally drop it. There is a difference.
