Two of the three years Moli has been at the helm his team has over performed. He leans heavily on a few pitchers because it's all he has to lean on. I'm a bigger fan of bunts than most so I'm not bothered by that. Lineup construction is weird at times. That's tough when Dozier insists on hitting lead off.
A Dozier trade isn't only about what's gotten in return. He, Mauer, Perkins, and Hughes are the last of the old guard losing Twins. Imho getting rid of them will be the final stage of the rebuild and the first to competing.
At least I got to watch a game thanks to FS1. Even if the offense couldn't back a gem by Berrios. Castro needs to take the bat off his shoulder. Especially with the pitcher, who's having a great game, up next and Buxton in scoring position.
I know Gray isn't Sale but I expected the A's to get a better return #77 and a couple high upside guys. Looks like Beane wasn't kidding about wanting MLB ready outfielders (reports say Mateo likely to move).
Keep Escobar in his role. Adrianza takes over at short. Polanco to 2nd. Garver takes 25 man spot. I have always liked Goodrum and his versatility but would like to see more with the stick in Sep.
