    Just doing a quick search, in April of 2019, Seth had Arraez as the #12 ranked position player: #12 - Luis Arraez 2B (Pensacola Blue Wahoos) Arraez returned last year after missing most of 2017 due to knee surgery. After a slow start, he started hitting again and then hit some more. Then about July 4th, he was promoted to Chattanooga where he hit some more. The Twins added him to the 40-man roster. Arraez is impressive to watch in person. He battles out at-bats and puts the ball in play. He’s also gained size and strength and I do think that he has become more athletic. In big league camp, he got time around the infield. In minor league camp, he primarily played second base.

    Awesome signing. He’s got 36 career WAR, including 14 in 2017-2018. If he is healthy all year, he will give Donaldson a run for his money for team MVP. Also improves Polanco by letting him move to 2B.

    And there it is—Kintzler saves the second win for Miami. Presley Hendriks Graterol Kintzler Has the makings of a pretty good bullpen.

    The possibilities are endless! With the Twins winning the division and getting the top seed, they get to play with Royals-Tigers winner. Will they be vanquished by battle-tested Alex Gordon catching Luiz Arraez line drives down the left field line? Or, more probably, will Gardy come out of retirement to lead the Tigers over the Twins, making shrewd move after shrewd move during the series? And will the losses count in their streak?

    Granted only six series have actually concluded so far. There is still a decent chance Brandon Kintzler will close out the series for the Marlins against the Cubs. (Now if HE tops 100...). Not sure their are former Twins in the Padres or Cardinals bullpens.

    Aaannnd Brusdar Graterol saves the series clincher for the Dodgers, clocking 101.5 on his first pitch. Three of the eight playoff series were saved by former Twins.

    Ryan Presley and Liam Hendriks both closed out first round playoff series in the last 24 hours or so. Hendriks hit 100 in the 9th today. As an aside, the AL Central teams went 1-6 in the opening round.

    Well, perhaps next year they can make it a nice round 20...and still win the World Series.

    David Ortiz was released by the Twins in December of 2002. The Twins has just been knocked out of the ALCS by the Angels and their Rally Monkey two months earlier. While the Twins did manage to win a game against the Yankees in 2003, they Then proceeded to lose the final three of that series, and then: 3 in 2004 (NY) 3 in 2006 (Oak) 3 in 2010 (NY) 1 in 2017 (NY) 3 in 2019 (NY) 2 in 2020 (Houston) The Red Sox have gone on to win four titles, in 2004, 2007, 2013, and 2018. (Granted, Big Papi only played in the first three.)

    So far in this series, the announcers have noted how Arraez never strikes out, and he immediately does. Then they note how no one hit any homers and the ball isn’t carrying. Immediately Correa goes yard. Quick, talk about how the Twins have lost 17 straight playoff games!
