  1. Also you just have to make shots. Getting outscored by 39 points from 3 isn't going to work.
  2. The Timberwolves were outscored 27 to 12 in the 4th quarter in tonight's game against the Bucks. That was just awful offense late in the game, so many heaves at the end of the shot clock.
  3. Jimmy Butler with an amazing effort to will the Wolves to a win, 39 points. Taj Gibson was great again too. A very fun game to watch, besides all of the questionable foul calls late.
  4. Good luck with Burdi even pitching 6 years in the majors.
  5. With KAT showing no interest in becoming a good defender at the 5, I'm starting to question if you can win with him there instead of at the PF. I always thought that he would be a fine defender, but it's past time where he should have shown that.
  6. If Kepler or Rosario is added, plus swapping out Gonsalves or Romero for Jorge, then maybe.
  7. Nick Gordon for Iglesias straight up seems fair. I'd make that trade.
  8. Remember Mike Pelfrey and Kevin Correia?
  9. Just for the sake of arguing, the 3 teams you listed have established 1B on their roster, and no team is going to waste a bench spot for 1B only guy.
  10. I don't get Diaz being a lock at all. Sure, he hit a lot of doubles last year, but no team is going to carry a 1B who hit 12 homers in low-a. And it's not like he hit .330 there either. I say there's about a 1% chance he gets added.
  11. I liked watching The Gophs continuously throwing at Josh Jackson, who is probably the best corner in the B10 and has a chance to be an All-American. Now that's good game-planning.
  12. At least when Ricky was ball-dominant, the offense had some sort of direction. This year's team has no idea how to play together yet. Obviously they need time to gel, so I'm trying not to overreact. I just miss Ricky.
  13. For how much Thibs is known for defense, I don't get his need to have a scoring point guard. Rubio was seemingly on the block the moment Thibs came in. This team doesn't need a pg who is looking to score. I'd love to have that trade back. It sure doesn't feel the same without Ricky leading the team.
  14. Really... At least pretend to play some defense someone.
  15. Just an awful defensive effort tonight against Indiana. Jimmy needs to get healthy quick.
  16. It sounded like Bellinger wasn't even remotely available last winter anyway.
  17. Watching the game, that injury is a moment will not be easily forgotten. So sad, especially for Celtics fans basically having their hopes crushed on opening night.
  18. Who else thought for a split second Mauer hit a 3-run HR? Questionable camera work on that play.
  19. The worst part about Rhoda is there's no threat of a QB run, which has led to a terrible rushing offense so far. Rhoda actually looked pretty good passing in the 4th quarter, until the interception late anyway.
  20. That may have been the worst tackling game I've ever seen. Really bad loss to a mediocre team at home.
  21. This felt like a very important game for the Twins. Avoiding losing 3 of 4 against a team that's out of it is huge at this point in the season, and hopefully they can carry some momentum on the road now.
  22. The Twins may have set some sort of record for pop ups last night. I don't know what their deal is with struggling against Estrada and his pitching clone, Mike Fiers.
