  1. To be fair, I would have kept Milone in... is that what you're referring to?
  2. We both said about 7 minutes, so my stat must be accurate.
  3. Here's a cool stat I totally didn't make up: Average Lead Length Twins: 30th, 7.2 minutes
  4. I don't think the Twins are going to trust a rookie as a closer, especially one that gives up too many walks.
  5. Eduardo Nunez is leading off today and Arcia's in the lineup, so at least Molitor is trying something... but why is Escobar batting 7th? It's almost as if Molitor's doing this intentionally so that the Twins don't score any runs. Ugh....
  6. On the bright side, the Twins starting pitching looks really good, so when other teams' starting pitching starts to break down, the Twins should be able to take advantage. The 2010-2014 Twins teams would have killed for this rotation. They're not a top 10 rotation or anything that special, but they're going to give the Twins chances to catch up.
  7. Everyone but Mauer and Escobar are under the Mendoza line... (not counting Nunez)
  8. If Escobar and Mauer aren't hitting next to each other in future lineups, I'm going to get ticked off. They are the only two getting on consistently. They have to be batting next to each other until one of them stops hitting.
  9. The Twins RISP must be astronomically low at this point. I wonder if it's reached the .050 range?
  10. Here's their chance... if they're gonna score, time to do it now.
  11. I was actually thinking the same thing... dang it, now they'll probably get Torii out of retirement and throw him back into RF.
  12. It's too cold to boo, apparently.
  13. Whoa, did Rosario just take a walK?! Wow, that's pretty rare.
  14. I sometimes find the crowd is quiet when the weather is cold outside. They seem to get more into the game once it warms up and also when it gets later in the game.
  15. Because the White Sox are enamored with veteran National League batters for some reason.
  16. Jepsen isn't looking so good...
  17. It'll be interesting to see how much Danny Santana plays this season. Will Arcia get any time in LF or RF?
  18. If this game has to go into extra innings... do we see Nolasco or Milone at some point?
  19. Abad looked good. Hopefully he can be this year's successful veteran reclamation project. And hopefully have a little higher K/9 than Boyer's 4.6.
  20. It'll be interesting to see how Fien fares in the bullpen. I used to like the guy, but his leash has got to be getting shorter. I want to see him succeed, but if he continues to pitch like this...
  21. This is about what I was expecting. Tonkin didn't deserve a spot on the roster, so I hope they keep his leash short. They shouldn't be afraid about losing him. If there's a decent bullpen arm getting optioned in the next few days, the Twins should consider swapping that guy with Tonkin. With some talented young starters waiting in AAA, Nolasco's leash should be short as well.
  22. Rosario has to be at the top of the bust list, at least for me. I don't think Suzuki can be a bust unless he plays really bad.
  23. I think we may see Quentin with the Twins later this season... all it will take is one injury to an outfielder or Arcia and he'll probably be the guy. It only depends if that happens before June 1st.
  24. He has options and he was a burden in the bullpen last year. He needs to prove himself in AAA if he wants to be back with the Twins later in 2016.
