  1. The Lookouts fans should be excited about this team, as there's much talent here to draw interest. I was really impressed with Vielma this spring and the fans may never see another SS with that kind of defensive talent. Maybe with a year with Tommy Watkins will help him on the offense side. Palka can leave the park at any time, and should roll up a lot of rbi. I'm hoping Wimmers can get back on a roll, as he has in the past and have a good year. Maybe the pen will work for him. Doug coaches like every game is the WS, so these guys that haven't played for him are in for a treat. Should be a good season in Chattanooga
  2. Seems Tyler Jay charts a lot. It's snowing up here, you lucky guy!
  3. It's a good thing there was a rain delay or we might have struck out 20 times! Letting Suzuki hit was the right move, as was Jepsen in the 9th. I didn't want to see Perkins in there, and like I've stated earlier this spring, May could end up being our closer.
  4. Ok, not being to savy at this stuff, I prepay for minutes on T-Mobile. So how do I go about signing up and where do I watch MLB from? I've just got a junk cheap phone.
  5. Rosario is fun to watch, and I think he'll have a good season. As far as injuries go, if an outfielder was to go down soon, Mastro would get the call first before Kepler.
  6. Tonkin had some balls hit hard against him. Some of the guys were with the Twins.
  7. Could be he was working on pulling the ball more.
  8. I'm going with the P;s, Perkins, Park, Plouffe
  9. Perkins I predict will get the 7th inning before half the season is over. May the 8th and Jepsen close. Perk has lost his magic. I just hope he doesn't blow to many games before they make a change.
  10. Walker will never be an outfielder, Thrylos is correct. I mentioned several times this spring how he was out early before the other players daily, playing catch with Joel Lepel. He's got all the wrong motion and Lepel kept working with him on it. First from like 20 feet and then backing up. He made some terrible throws in the games I watched this spring, and I saw quite a few. He can't hit a curve ball, but blasts fast balls. Saw him lose one yesterday, and two the game before at home. He's destined as a DH if he ever makes it. He's really I nice young man and I'm hoping he can make it, but I don't think he'll ever have a decent arm.
  11. The new rosters weren't out today as of now.
  12. Berrios struck out the side in the 1st, gave up a couple of hits in the 2nd and got out of the jam. Kintzler started the other game.
  13. Santana was told today he made the team.
  14. I've seen Nolasco's last two games. He does not need to go, and if you had seen them you'd agree. IMO he's winning the spot in the rotation thus far. If he can keep pitching like he has been he could win a lot of games this year.
  15. Because the Twins could of scored runs but didn't. Standing next to an usher in the bottom of the first and he says "anY Dozier bunt and we have a run". But, we just don't ever seem to bunt. Could of pulled a squeeze with Nunez too. Now is the time to try that stuff. Pretty boring game.
  16. Down below today, Booshers, Darnell and Tonkin each pitched an inning, followed by 5 from Berrios, with Chargois finishing up. Good job by all.
  17. Sunday's minor league games start at 10am.
  18. That curveball was just plain nasty warming up and the slider had a lot of movement on it too. Not nearly the movement the ball he threw to Palka had in the 2nd though. I retrieved that ball from the back yard of that medical building.
  19. No surprise in going to the pen. He'll be more valuable there, and hopefully get us to the 9th. It's the closer that worries me, and I'd give May even odds that he takes over that spot to regaining a spot in the rotation.
  20. 3rd baseman just isn't as fast as he thinks he is, again. But we lead 2-1
  21. Minor league, intrasquad. They start playing teams tomorrow, AA and AAA at home.
